Another great weekend

This was our second year to stay here and it didn’t disappoint. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The sunsets were just amazing and those beds are more comfortable than ours at home. An overall relaxing yet action packed vacation on the lake.

Amazing View and Relaxing Atmosphere

This is an amazing place to stay. It is perfect for our family. Lots of space for the 6 adults and the fenced in backyard is just what we needed for our dogs. Being on the water with a dock available for our boat, makes the stay amazing. We would ski, surf, wakeboard, and tube. Then sit on the deck to watch the sunset. Finally, enjoy more family time with games inside. We couldn’t have asked for a better place.

Relax & Have Fun

Over the top accommodations and amenities galore in this vacation retreat is what you will find at Sunset View. Our hosts could not have been more gracious, communicative and promising some of the best sunsets around. My husband, adult son and daughter and I took full advantage of utilizing the dock, with fishing, floating, swimming and relaxing; and the wildlife was an added bonus. A top-notch experience had by all. We hope to repeat this experience soon.

Everything we wanted and more!

The views off the deck lived up to they hype. The property was immaculate and the owner went above and beyond to supply us everything we didn't even think of. We had a great time swimming off the deck and even caught some fish. The neighborhood was a bit in the woods and the driveway was pretty steep but we managed just fine and it was a very quiet and relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Heavenly Hilltop View!

I can’t begin to describe how much we loved our stay here. There are no words to adequately describe this lakehouse. The owners were so kind, always responded quickly, and went above and beyond to welcome our family. Everything you could ever want or need was provided. We’ve stayed at numerous VRBO rentals for years and we’ve never been more impressed with the hospitality. The sunsets, early morning fishing (we caught over 30!), the dock access, the cool AC, the snacks, wine, and college bound welcome sign made our trip worth the drive. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you again for everything!

Perfect Home for a Family Gathering

Sunset View is just as advertised ... and more! We had family meet-up from NE, KS, and TX. Grand Lake was the central point, and Sunset View was the perfect venue. Tammie (host) thought of everything we could possibly need and provided it in abundance! Extra beach towels, toiletries, lake floaties, yard games, etc. Everything was labeled and easy to find, and the personal touches were icing on the cake - including the personal welcome message and adorable pet blanket for our shih-tzu! The boat dock was easy to navigate for our boat rental and we had a blast tubing, wakeboarding, and cruising the lake. Te]he kayaks were another bonus and exploring the lake in the early morning on the last day was a real treat. The sunset is beautiful and the deck was a great hang out spot. Would highly recommend both this place and the host family. They were extremely responsive and helped us plan our stay. Thank you!!

Welcome to Sunset View on Grand Lake Oklahoma. We are your host (Tammie, Bob and Chris). We intend to be the best host we can, and give our guest the experience we expect when we are personally traveling. We fell in love with this home and the extraordinary nightly sunsets. We knew this home would be a gift to everyone who stayed. The beautiful large deck allows for family gatherings and relaxation while viewing the beautiful boats and sailboats on the lake.
