I’m in the hospital right now so it’s pretty difficult for me to review the property that we had a lovely time and especially enjoyed the back porch and the location.

Family friendly, however home needs major remodeling of 2 bathrooms ; door handle in master bath is broken, faucets are out dated, and showers appear to have been painted and are peeling. Floor throughout the house was very dirty, as if it had never been mopped. Home had a mildew odor when we arrived, but went away once we turned on the air. Area rug in master has large stains, as well as poor landscaping; grass is very over grown in the front and back. Master bedroom mattress is very comfortable.

Overall has potential

Location and neighborhood was great. Overall an okay stay but would say cleanliness was an issue. We were able to communicate our concerns in which the host was willing to send someone to clean. The cleaning team was 5 hrs late which caused us to wait a total of 10 hrs before the house was “clean”. This was a major inconvenience. Most of the cleaning was taking care of but a few areas in which we discussed were a concern were not touched.

Rough

Projector didn’t fit the screen, bugs were everywhere, no dishwasher, kid lock on thermostat, very dated compared to the listing pictures, smelled like sewer in the entrance, poor lighting in the entrance garden, and it’s not on a golf course as it is closed and overgrown. Chips on the kitchen table were a nice gesture but they were expired by a year. Should be a lot cheaper. Kudos to the photographer. I would usually not leave a review in this situation but I would hate for someone to have the same experience.

Perfect valley location

We returned to the valley after several years to revisit places we had enjoyed with my winter Texan dad. The location was absolutely perfect and the accommodations did not disappoint. We had all we needed and experienced great communication from the host. Beds were comfortable, screened porch was awesome, kitchen supplied to meet our needs. Hot water was in good supply for laundry and showers. Very pleased with our stay.

Nice house in a good location

This was a nice house in a very good location for food and shopping. There was tile throughout, and there could’ve been more rugs, especially in the bathrooms, which there was only one small one in each. Kitchen was newer with nice appliances and wine refrigerator. The golf course that this house sits on is shut down and is all weeds. There is a nice screened in patio to sit on though. There are a few minor things that could make this house much better. The cushions were very old and stained, we actually went to the store and bought two for ourselves to sit on. The TV in the main sitting area is an old projection TV with the speaker in the rear so you really have a hard time hearing what’s was being said. Overall, it was a nice clean place and close to everything you would need for shopping and restaurants.

Thangiving visit

We loved the space of the home, only items i would ask- please fix bathroom door handle in master, it kept coming off while i was trying to open the door. Please coni Soder dressers or additional hangers, there was little for clothing storage outside of a few hangers. Thank you for the use of your home!

Nice spot, conveniently located

Good location for getting around in the valley, nice back porch with view of the park, so nice to have a bit of nature nearby. House is a bit older and could do with some deep cleaning and updating, but it served our purposes well.

Great location, top amenities, good neighborhood

Perfect place to stay in McAllen. Close to restaurants and shopping. Nice neighborhood but busy street. Older home which needs some cosmetics but great beds and bedding ( 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths), nice living and dining room furniture and fully equipped kitchen. Nice sitting area on back porch looking out onto a golf course ( non-functioning at this time). 105 outside but cool and comfortable inside! Easy check-in and check-out!
