Perfect vacation

Bruce’s home was perfect for our family. He was always available to communicate with when needed and the house was well stocked and comfortable . We enjoyed the video games and access to bikes. We will be back.

The issues were the cleaning crew. Lay out was great, kitchen was wonderfully stocked, great beach supplies. And the owner tried to make the issues right. Only thing I'd mention was linens not being available more than 2 days ahead of time

Wonderful family beach vacation home

The property is definitely well-thought out and beautifully equipped. Everything needed for a fun and relaxing vacation is provided, and the location is excellent. The owner is very attentive - all told, would do again!

Well-equipped and everything to do!

The house had so many fun things to do with outdoor games and toys and indoor puzzles! We love the different sitting areas inside and out, and the host was very engaged and thoughtful.

Yearly stay at Edisto

This is one of the best vacation homes we’ve stayed in at Edisto. The house was perfect for a large family. Kitchen was high-end and stocked extremely well. All bedrooms were comfortable and private. Lots of activities for indoor and outdoor. Only place we’ve stayed where you truly just need to bring your clothes! Will definitely stay here again. Owner was quick to respond when we had questions. Definitely a 5 star review!

Don’t miss out on this amazing rental!

This house was certainly full of charm. You can tell how much love went into making it special. I have never seen a kitchen this well stocked with everything you need and I have been renting for the last 23 years! The host is fabulous! Lots of extras. You will not regret renting this one!

Spring Break

We had such a great time at this home. It is in a great location to get to a beach access near the point so you can have calm waters for your kiddos. The house was better stocked than any house I have rented before. I loved that they provided bicycles so we did not have to go rent them or bring them. The house was spacious and a lovely decorated home. We will definitely rent from this owner again. We had no problems with the home and any questions we did have were answered immediately.

Fabulous!

My family had a wonderful week on Edisto. The house is thoughtfully furnished and well-stocked, and the owners were quick and helpful communicators. There are lots of living areas to give people space, along with gathering areas big enough for everyone to hang out or enjoy a meal. It was so nice to have so many beach supplies provided with the rental, and everyone enjoyed the games (both arcade and board). The location is perfect: down the road from the beach (with a good mix of waves for boogie boarding and calm water for young kids), Whaleys, and the tennis/pickleball court. We enjoyed renting a golf cart but would have been fine without one.

Harpies vaca

The house was perfect, overly supplied with dishes, cookware and beauty. You can feel the love they put into this home. Bruce was the best host, contacted me several times to make sure all was well. It was all great...except the WEATHER. WE WERE UNDER GALE WIND ADVISORIES THE WHOLE TRIP. MY BAD. Remembering Old Farmers Almanac from now on. My grands enjoyed their time here with pinball, PACMAN and bikes, one has a flat tire I couldnt fix. The beauty and restfullness of Bruce and Ann's home made up for all the weather. Thank you both for allowing us to stay, God bless you and yours. Kim

Great house for 2 families with younger kids

Loved the house and its layout, as well as the proximity to the beach (just less than 2 blocks!) The living area and kitchen are large with a huge TV and fireplace (not that it was used with the temps in the 90’s!). Plenty of pots and pans as well as spices and olive oil! Large frig! Cooktop grill and outdoor grill that is “OK” for burgers but low end and difficult to control. Downstairs bedrooms leave a lot to be desired. Bunk bed mattresses probably ok for kids but uncomfortable for an adult. The queen bed room has a VERY high bed which is difficult for children or older adults to get into and is super soft and squeaky. As the grandparents, we had a very difficult time sleeping in it, Our grand kids 8,9,10 loved the arcade machines, basketball goal, cornhole, and bikes. There is a ping pong table under the house which we wanted to use but no one wanted to clean it in order to play. The housekeepers don’t clean the lower level under the house so unless it’s been cleaned by the previous renter, the wind will have brought in lots of sand and dirt, there are also a few useable bikes, lots of beach chairs, and boogie boards. We had to furnish all our sheets and towels. It has 2 king room suites with baths upstairs. There is also a twin room great for smaller kids. They have to walk through the king bedrooms or downstairs to get to a bathroom, however. All in all it’s a great house VERY CLEAN with a great owner who is very RESPONSIVE AND ATTENTIVE via email!
