INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach. 


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Beautiful condo

Really thought the owners went over and beyond to update this condo! It is gorgeous! We did come home a day early however, because the beds were so uncomfortable… in the master the mattress was too soft… and in the other the top mattress just sits on wood, which makes it hard to lay on. Otherwise it was great!

Beach trip

The condo was exactly as pictured, we arrived early and were able to go to the beach prior to check in. Elevators were a challenge, lots of time waiting or using stairs. Queen bed was extremely uncomfortable and squeaky. I could feel the frame underneath. Beautiful view from balcony and easy access to the beach!

Never ending wait for elevator

Wait for elevators was never ending - 20 minutes plus. I have to use stairs a few times as well. No place to park my bikes. So I had to keep the bikes on the car all the time. Property was nice and clean. Great view of the ocean.

Rooms were adequate but beds were a little small. Kitchen had very little cooking items. Elevators were horrible.. took 30 minutes or longer to even get one one and then it rode up and down. We have stayed multiple times at this condo but this may have been the last.

Beach vacation

Condo was clean. Location was good. Beds were comfortable. Lots of towels. Staff was friendly. Elevator was not as bad as other reviews. Kitchen was small and average supplies. Guest toilet was inconsistent with flushing. No ice with the freezer. Ran out of trash bags. There wasn’t even salt and pepper in the kitchen.

Happy Place for 7 Days

We love Panama City Beach. This was our 3rd stay in Tidewater Resort. It’s centrally located to everything for us. The unit we stayed in was well equipped with our oceanfront views and sounds. Tastefully decorated. Loved the barn door on 2nd bedroom. Primary bedroom was awesome. That shower was spa. The mattress on bed felt like an air mattress with slowly seeping out. Too soft. Aside from that we couldn’t ask for a better unit to stay in. Tidewater elevators are the worse but we learned to be strategic with our activities so we wouldn’t experience long wait times.

The elevators were a nightmare

The check in process was a pain and to get a cart was also a pain. The elevators were a nightmare. Trying to get one to check out on time was very stressful. The actual codo itself was very nice, however I wasn’t aware the second bathroom was attached to the second bedroom so if anyone needed to use the restroom they had to go through the bedroom and would wake them up. I will not be staying at this resort again due to the elevators and the check in and cart situation.
