Coconut Palms II Beach Resort - 2BR/2BA Ocean View
The Coconut Palms II Beach Resort in New Smyrna Beach is a complex that includes 5 different buildings and 3 outdoor pools. The great location is the main selling point here. The beach is literally only a few steps from the multiple pool(s) and this stretch of beach is wonderful for walking miles.
There are many shops and restaurants only a couple of blocks away, as this property is very close to the main Flagler Avenue strip.
THE SPACE
This 2BR/2BA Lockout unit at Coconut Palms II Beach Resort will be located in the main Coconut Palms II building (see Property Layout in Photos section).
This unit has a fully equipped Kitchen with Full sized Refrigerator, Stove, Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffeemaker, Toaster, basic Cookware, Dinnerware and flatware for six. Living Room has a Queen Sleeper sofa.
Master bedroom with a Queen bed. The 2nd Bedroom also has a Queen bed, and because this is a lock-out unit the 2nd bedroom has a Kitchenette with small wet bar. This 2BR Suite can accommodate up to six (6) guests.
A major multi-million-dollar refurbishment was just completed here in 2023, so you will find the property and units in good condition.
The main benefits offered by staying at this resort are...
1. The fantastic beach in front of the property, only a few steps from your unit.
2. Overall amenities (3 Outdoor Pools, Outdoor Sun Deck / Lounging area, onsite Tiki Bar, etc)
3. The price. The prices here for staying directly on the Beach provides better value, offering you more size and features (including a Full Kitchen) than a traditional hotel room elsewhere.
UNITS / PHOTOS
Please note that this listing includes multiple weeks available. The photos reflect the interiors of several different units you might be assigned, depending on which specific week you book. However, these units all have the same basic floorplan, and you are guaranteed a 2BR/2BA (sleeps 6). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
GUEST ACCESS
This is a Resort Hotel property, so your unit will be private, but Amenities (Pools, Sun Deck, Beach, etc) will be shared with other guests.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.
- Coconut Palms II Beach Resort is professionally managed and operated by Festiva Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance.
- Please note that once you Check In and get access to your unit, if you encounter any issues or concerns regarding Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.…please contact the Front Desk / Office IMMEDIATELY. The staff members on-site provide the best opportunity to get any concerns resolved in the fastest and most efficient manner.
- Please note that some of the photos may not be from the specific unit you will be assigned. However, they do reflect the general layout you can expect from various locations in the unit.
- Two FREE parking passes are included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.
- Please note that parking during prime summer months can get challenging.
- This is a FLOATING unit type. What that means is that you will be booked in what is considered an OCEAN VIEW 2BR/2BA, but your unit location (High or Low floor, North or South side of building, towards Front or Back of building, etc) and specific balcony configuration will be determined at Check In.
- Please be aware your specific unit assignment can result in a range of different Ocean View types, from unobstructed to partially restricted. I always request a unit as close to Oceanfront as possible, and something on a Higher floor. You can contact the Front Desk ahead of time about 7-10 days before Check-In and request a certain unit location. Although you can never be guaranteed a specific location the Front Desk will usually try to accommodate requests if they can.
- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.
- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.
- Utensils, Dishes, and some basic Pots and Pans are provided. If something appears to be missing, you can contact the Front Desk and possibly get it dropped off (if they have it). However, if you plan on cooking a lot of meals inside your unit, or plan any special dishes, I do recommend bringing your favorite Large Frying pan (or Large Sauté Pan, Wok, Crockpot, etc, etc) for cooking. This way you will have something you are comfortable using and you will know exactly how things will cook in it. You may also want to bring your favorite Kitchen knife(s) for food prep.
- There is no daily housekeeping provided. There are Washers and Dryers available at onsite Laundry facilities. Most recent cost was $1.50 per Washer load / $1.50 per Dryer load. However, please note this nominal fee is subject to change year over year.
- If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.
- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them.
- You should bring your own Beach Chairs / Beach Blankets / Umbrellas / Coolers / Equipment you want to use on the beach. If you don’t bring your own stuff, you can rent the equipment in the area.
