Convenient location. Paved access all the way there is a big plus in the mountains. It was less expensive than others but you also get what you pay for. Our main gripe was the baseboard heat had no indication of what temperature it was set to so it got really hot and then you turn it down and it’s cold …. Hard to regulate. Also no fitted sheet for the pull out bed. No handsoap. It was clean.

Location of the property is perfect. Very close to the litttle town of Banner Elk, hiking in Linville and Grandfather Mountain. We had a couple issues with the coffee maker and getting connected with the TV. Other than that, everything was great. Would stay again and recommend.

Fine but a bit dated. Relatively clean unit except for beneath the couch when pulling out the sofa bed. The mattress seems improved over prior reviews complaining it was too soft. Basic but adequate kitchen/supplies. Regret not reading the fine print that claimed the unit did not have A/C. Ended up purchasing and leaving a box fan for the next guest; only one fan in the entire unit.

Ok but not great

Great location, comfortable bed! No AC, needs more lighting, lots of stairs to motivate and not the cleanest…bring extra towels and fans if you come in the summer. The neighbors above you have heavy feet and barking dogs.

Very nice condo but do not expect new construction. Quiet, wooded, and very convenient to Banner Elk shopping and dining.

Daddy/Daughter Trip

My daughter and I made a quick trip to the mountains for some hiking. We absolutely loved the condo. It was very clean and had just enough room for us to be comfortable. We would definitely recommend this for two people.

Nice location

The condo is in a nice location fairly close to the ski slopes. It is walkable distance but would not want to do it hauling skis or in ski boots. When we arrived to checkin the door code sent in the email from Vacasa was incorrect and we had to call customer service. The condo actually has a manual lock with one hard key in a lockbox outside. Also the sofa bed had dirty sheets on it when we arrived and the mattress cover was in floor or closet with stains on it. Fortunately there was a clean set on the bottom of coffee table so we were able to replace them ourselves. We were there over a very cold weekend single digit temperatures and heat worked well to keep the condo toasty. There was no dishwasher in the condo. The WIFI was terrible. You are required to sign on through Vacasa each time you need it and it logs off after a few minutes. Would definitely not depend on this WIFI if needed for work or business. Overall a nice stay with good location but management, wifi, and cleaning with room for improvement.
