Welcome to Suite 212, "Exhale," our smallest but most thoughtfully designed studio at Rock Spring Resort. This cozy retreat features a queen bed, an electric fireplace, and a sunny seating nook complete with a Murphy desk and plush accent chair, perfect for catching up on a good book or answering a few emails.

The space is filled with natural light and modern artistic flair, balancing rustic charm with contemporary touches. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchenette with all the essentials for light cooking, a smart TV for streaming your favorites, a small closet for storage, and a sparkling full bathroom.

Located on the second floor, Suite 212 offers quiet, comfortable accommodations for solo travelers or couples who crave peace and simplicity in a beautiful country setting.

Step outside and enjoy our 10-acre resort grounds! Rock Spring Resort features 1.25 miles of manicured walking trails, fire pits, picnic tables, a hot tub, a dry sauna, hammocks, swings, a playground, and a treehouse library for the kids. The Bark Park with off-leash space and complimentary treats makes this the perfect destination for your four-legged family members, too!

We’re just 26 minutes from Lookout Mountain and 23 minutes from Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, making us a quiet but convenient home base for your Chattanooga adventures.

I have stayed here a few times now and it’s always a great stay. It’s pet friendly with beautiful grounds for walks. Staff are always attentive. Cleaning staff are top notch. It’s so much closer to “home” than a hotel would be!

Quick Stay

This property was so perfect for our stay! Easily accessible to/from Chattanooga; perfectly described; clean; quiet; everything you want in a stay! The actual room was “small,” but had a king bed and all the amenities! The hosts even had the electric fireplace turned on and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived! If I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Very relaxing

Very nice place. Bed was super comfy! The only complaint we had was the smell of dog when you walked into the building. But definitely recommend!! We will stay here again!

Exactly as described

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is small as described but perfect for a couple. Cute decor, clean and very comfortable. Quiet location but in close proximity to attractions. The hot tub was relaxing and the complimentary wine was an unexpected nice touch. We would absolutely stay again.

Nice place in a small town

Booking was easy. When we arrived there was not a key in the lock box as instructed so I immediately called Jen. Owners live on site so it was easy to remedy the situation- she actually moved us to another unit. It was perfect for what we needed. They’d gone above and beyond to make the units homey- including Christmas decorations- We will definitely stay there again.

Clean, Cute and Affordable!

I really loved this apartment. It’s got a full kitchen and a cozy bed. I enjoyed being able to use the dog park they have here. The hot tub is an added bonus. I love that it was so affordable, but it reminded me of some of the places I stayed at in Chattanooga that cost way more. I felt like someone put a lot of thought into this design. Plus, it was super clean. I really thought everyone staying and working here were super sweet. I would definitely recommend this.

Great experience.

We stayed in the area to take care of a family issue, so we didn’t use or get involved in any amenities or activities other than the basics. The space was very clean, well maintained and stocked for visitors. Will definitely stay here again if we need lodging in this area. (The only issue we had is that building was remodeled from something else so the the internal staircases are rather steep. If you have knee issues, as we do, we recommend reserving a first level space.)

Lots To Do

I really enjoyed this place. They had a lot for my daughter to enjoy. The playground had a ninja line, trampoline, play house and tree top library. She loved the swings and the climbing equipment. It’s a really big place on a nice plot of land. They did a good job with all the extra things like laundry, hot tub, dog park and the sauna. There were quite a few people here and they all were very nice and friendly. A few other kids for my daughter to play with. The suite is really comfortable. You have your own kitchen. You have a very comfy bed and I enjoyed the fireplace by the TV. It puts our heat. So, we were warm and cozy. The internet was very fast. I would recommend this any day. It’s also super beautiful country area.

Nice people. Weird set up. No control of heat/air.

The property itself is in a good location and does seem to have a lot going for it. We were able to get to downtown Chattanooga in about half an hour. The managers were nice and did communicate. Our only issue was that the room we booked was doubled booked, so we ended up in a room on the lower level where the bathroom was down a long hallway from the bedroom (and along the hallway there were other doors that we were told no one would be coming in through). But it was a weird set up. Also we had no control over the heat or air so we were very warm and had to open the window to cool off. The bedroom itself was nice and the bed was comfortable. Just gave 3 stars due to the inability to control the temperature and also the odd arrangement of the rental space.

We hated that we were double booked by VRBO and another booking platform for the same date. This rarely happens, but occasionally there are software glitches between booking platforms (like there was in this case). We did our best to accommodate without canceling on you or other guests, since rooms were sold out for the night all across the Chattanooga area. As you know, we did contact you in advance to let you know about this booking issue, but we still hate that we didn't meet your expectations. We were hopeful that for just a one-night stay, it would suffice to put you in a larger apartment and just lock the rooms you didn't need (since you reserved a studio). I can tell you that we've only had a handful of double bookings and we've hosted thousands of folks over the past 2 years, so this is a very unusual situation. We hope you will give us the chance to wow you in the future.

Over all the confusion over the host having us cancel so she could change my room and then my concern as to payment cause a lot of added stress. Also, the room was on a floor with some people that smoked pot all the time so the smell drifted all down the halls and rooms. I found out after we left that the host does not change the codes in the rooms after people check out. That is extremely dangerous and I would not stay there again knowing that.
