The Farmhouse Retreat is located just 5 1/2 miles east of downtown Fredericksburg on US Hwy 290 right in the middle of a number of special destination points. The House is approximately 1,400 square feet in size. The floor plan includes a spacious living room, full size kitchen, appliances, kitchenware, two bedrooms (Two King beds) with closets, and 1.5 bathrooms. There is a smart TV in the living room and the house has large covered front and back porches.

A great place to stay when visiting the Texas Hill Country and 290 Wine Trail! Literally minutes from wineries in either direction, as well as downtown Fredericksburg and it's numerous shops and restaurants. Communication with our host, Joseph, was efficient and timely. The house was very comfortable and roomy, with a nicely stocked full kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Our group loved our stay at Farmhouse. House was very clean and comfortable. Location cannot be beat if wineries are part of your plans, but property is also only a short drive into Fredericksburg. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Laid back relaxing bachelorette weekend. We made plenty of memories and filled the cabin full of laughter every day! We enjoyed seeing the deer behind the cabin every day, along with our boat to the wineries within close distance. Downtown shopping, card games, gathering around the islands for breakfast/brunch every day was amazing! The property is very clean and very beautiful……. Everything exceeded my expectations and we were all blown away!!!! Thank you so much AMA I can’t wait to go back and this time with my husband for a relaxing romantic getaway!

Great home on wine trail

Home is cozy, comfortable and close to local wineries and town. Also peaceful! We enjoyed staying here. Rooms and beds comfortable and nice shower. one bedroom door won’t latch but it didn’t really bother us as we could prop it closed and we were with family otherwise we had a great stay and will stay again. I would recommend end of driveway lighting as it’s hard to see at night.

Lovely, comfortable home in a perfect location

Our group all enjoyed our stay here, especially the location. Convenient to everything Fredericksburg offers--wineries, restaurants, museums, wildflowers, and this year, the total solar eclipse! We especially enjoyed visiting and grilling in the outdoor areas. The house is beautiful indoors and out, and perfect for two couples.

Our new go-to place for a staycation!

The property was great! We live in Kerrville, so it was a quick 30 minute trip to the property. The house was as advertised and very clean. The bed was super comfortable.The house was perfect to host our friends (who were staying next door in the cabins) and bbq out back and enjoy the large porch! I particularly was happy that the host provided bathroom "incidentals" like lotions, shampoo and soap. The location is great and just a short drive to the wineries. I would recommend the farmhouse for sure! We'll be back!

We stayed 2 nights and had a great time! House was adorable and very clean! My only issue is that the bedroom doors do not stay closed nor do they lock, but that comes with it being an older home. We loved where it was located it was super easy to get around!

Trip to Fredericksburg Tx

This was the perfect place my sister and her husband stayed with us so we had plenty of room. The house is really nice the deck outsiide was great to enjoy morning coffee. It has a bath and 1/2 not two full, the living area was a good size the kitchen has everything we needed. A short drive to town. the brewery across the highway is where enjoyed an outstanding dinner. We all enjoyed our short stay next time in hopes we can stay longer. The Poe's

Amazing Farmhouse Retreat! Peaceful

A farmhouse retreat indeed! Our family of four had an amazing stay! The property was just the right distance from downtown Fredericksburg to have a balance of enjoying time downtown and time relaxing on the property. The house is far enough off the road that we did not hear any vehicle traffic. We really enjoyed using the outside gas grill. The dining room was perfect for enjoying a Mother's Day meal, birthday meal, and playing board games. The amenities were perfect for us - including covered parking, peaceful atmosphere, open/spacious feeling as you enter the house, and comfortable beds. We highly recommend it and will stay again the next time we go to Fredericksburg.

Birthday Getaway

Perfect place! This property was so great! It was located on the outskirts of town, but convenient to everything. It was super clean, nicely decorated, and we loved the backyard sitting area. We definitely will book again on our next trip to Fredericksburg!

Perfect location, really pleasant stay!

We had a great stay, the place was as advertised and really close to a lot of wineries and the Altstadt brewery! The backyard was really quiet and there was a ton of outdoor seating. There were plenty of amenities and it was pretty easy to cook a couple meals during our stay. Would recommend, thanks again!
