Renovated in April 2023 down to the studs featuring a king-sized bed, new appliances, kitchenware, new furniture, new heat and a/c unit. A cozy, one room cabin perfect for a romantic time away. Hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit.

The Lakota cabin sits nestled on the edge of the woods. It is surrounded by nature and all of the beauty it has to offer. Perfect for 2 guests.

Lost a day of hot tub use because it was set in "power save mode" which prevented it from going past luke warm. Couldnt figure it out because the control panel was missing the cover that told what buttons were which. Due to no wifi and very poor cell service, we couldnt get it fixed until next day when breaker blew to bathroom/living room. Also bed was just ok as far as comfort. I honestly would have only given a 3star, but the maintenance guy was very prompt and professional.

A perfect couples’ get away. Selfishly, my wife and I would want to keep this cabin a secret so it doesn’t book up. The reality is that it was perfect for a 2 night getaway. I would suggest the owner or property manager check the deck where the hot-tub is located…the deck has shifted over time and is tilting aggressively; probably needs to be jacked up to level and reinforced.

Very intimate and cozy. The property was easy to find. Cabin was clean and the hot tub was easy to use. The 5AM suspected racoon visitor above on the roof trying to serenade us with its claw love song was authentic.

Our stay at the Lakota was really nice! The cabin was easy to get to and close to everything. It was very clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay very much!

Very nice cozy cabin for a couples getaway. Only complaint is that the shower head has zero pressure, and hot water came and went all the time. But other than that, great!

Please don't make the same mistake as us by booking this cabin!!! the deck that the hot tub sits on is NOT structurally sound or appropriately supportive for the weight of the hottub. The entire deck is sloping towards the back of the property and there is almost a 5 inch slope of the water when you open up the hottub because of this. My husband and I felt very unsafe and were truly baffled at how clearly inappropriate the engineering of the deck was in order to support the weight of a hottub. Also due to the location of the AC unit inside, the entire ceiling across the cabin was wet (condensation) and literally dripped down on us, the couch, and the floor during our stay. You can see the areas on the ceiling that are moldly that remain condensated the most often. We believe the mold also attributed to an odd mildewy smell in the cabin. We decided to make the most of our trip and I won't say it was the worst experience we've ever had (hence 2 stars instead of 1). But this cabin was so disappointing and we will not be returning.

This property was great! A perfect getaway for a couple. The cabin was extremely clean and had nice furnishings. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was perfect for hiking the trails of Hocking Hills. Would definitely stay here again!

Great cozy peaceful cabin

Really enjoyed our long weekend trip, Cabin was clean cozy enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck looking out into the forest. So close to all the attractions and hiking! Definitely will be back!

Bliss in the forest

Had a wonderful stay. Property was clean and well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the hot tub was a pleasant way to relax after hiking. We spent much of our time on the porch and felt like we were in a tree house. Highly recommended.
