"Con un estilo moderno y una obra de arte arquitectónica clásica, esta casa de diseño es el lugar perfecto para apoyar sus pies después de estar todo el día en la isla. Hemos mezclado acentos antiguos con muebles de estilo playero para crear un diseño atemporal que se remonta a tiempos más simples; Abrazando la historia ecléctica de Port Aransas. Pisos de roble lavados de color gris, techos de eslinga pintados y azulejos de inspiración vintage son algunos de los acabados únicos en todas partes. Con capacidad para 11 huéspedes cómodamente, Lollygag tiene cuatro dormitorios y tres baños y medio. It rained the whole time, but this house served us so well to switch plans to puzzles/cooking at the large kitchen table and Nintendo for the littles in the perfectly outfitted loft. The kitchen has everything you need. Our party of 8 was very comfortable and we had a superb time. Checking this one in the memory bank, loved our stay. Will be back!

Roach/water bugs motel

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival a lot of dead roaches and water bugs throughout the property. Contacted management second day after seen live bugs and roaches. Spoke with manager he said he would send out pest control but I declined because of small children crawling on floor. That manager also told me that wasn’t one of his properties he managed but he would tell the manager. I requested a telephone call from that manager, never received one.Other than that beautiful property.

Beach was good—except for Saturday when cars & trucks were getting stuck in the sand and then golf carts & cars started cutting through where we were sitting under the umbrellas!! I was so afraid someone was going to get seriously hurt so we packed up and left the beach! The only other dislike was the mosquitoes!! It would have been nice to spray through out the area —they were awful and repellent didn’t stop most of them!

Five grandchildren loved the bunk room and TV landing. Property recently moved from 2 King/1 Queen to 3 Kings! Only issue was with a broken door on the fridge, but CS staff gave us a bag of ice a day to make up for the ice maker. Thanks. It was a wonderful stay!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The AC didn’t work upstairs. We called for someone to come out but they never did so the thermostat stayed at 80 degrees upstairs, even at night. The refrigerator door was broken and wouldn’t shut all the way, we called about that too and maintenance never came out. There were three dead cockroaches in the living/kitchen area upon check in. The house location was good and floor plan was nice but we left a day early since sleeping was so uncomfortable at that temp. They need more restaurants on site, there’s a coffee shop with very limited menu. A pizza place that was very good. Poolside restaurant that was ok at best and then a fine dining restaurant that’s only open for dinner and doesn’t do to go orders. Uber eats isn’t an option on the island

A great weekend at Lollygag!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lollygag has the perfect lay-out for our family. We have stayed here before and will do so in the future. The kitchen is on the entry level, so there is no need to lug groceries etc up a set of stairs. The main gathering area is also on the ground floor, so all the activities can take place here. In addition to the main master/king, there are two generous bedrooms and a very cute bunk room upstairs. Nice quiet location. We enjoyed the walks to the beach, the pools and to the restaurants, market, and coffeehouse. The house has lots of natural light, lovely landscaping, and very convenient parking. We will stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Lollygag. It had everything we needed for a family Thanksgiving retreat. The kitchen is very well stocked. Bed and bedding were comfortable. House is laid out nicely with the master on main floor and several rooms upstairs. Glad we rented a golf cart, but it is walkable to beach and "small pool" and city center. Extremely relaxing. There were a few issues, but the team at Cinnamon Shores took care of matters quickly for us and were very pleasant.

FAMILY VACATION

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to Port Aransas for 30 years. We love it! This year we wanted to treat our entire family to a week of fun in the sun! We decided to rent a house since we had to accommodate so many. Upon arrival we noticed a large leak in the game room upstairs and called the manager. She came to the house to look at it along with one of the maintenance crew. It was not expected to rain so I thought we were fine. Then we noticed to door handles did not work. We had to go to the front door to lock up because it was the only one that worked. The ice maker did not work and one of the bedroom televisions did not work. Needless to say we were not very happy. We talked to Amanda, the manager, several times. There were no other homes available. She credited our beach chairs & umbrellas for the week and also gave us a small refund on our stay. She was very nice and professional. I have never had so many things wrong with a rental and never expected that in a community as nice as Cinnamon Shores, however, Amanda was very professional about the situation and we had a wonderful vacation.

We did have a couple of things that didn’t work in the house, mainly door handles and locks (we know they are hurricane locks) and even the repairman couldn’t fix one of the doors.

Cinnamon Shores Lollygag 107

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, good experience, but we did have several issues during our stay that took away from it being great. The upstairs AC was out when we arrived and was unable to be fixed until the next day. It was fixed in a timely manner but made for a very hot night. The water heater went out on our second to last day and was unable to be repaired before we left which meant freezing cold showers (or no showers) after the beach and before a long drive home. On the second day our YETI ice chest full of drinks for the week was stolen off the back porch next to the back door. Unexpected for this type of community although once shared with the front office we were then told this happens pretty often. A heads up would have avoided a $400+ loss early in the trip. Outside of these setbacks, house was clean, nicely decorated, well laid out and accommodated 4 families well enough. Location is near main highway (noise), easily accessible from beach with golf cart, lots of construction activity across from driveway (no new home being built, just appeared to be staging area for old materials, lawn services and construction crews). Grill was very clean - not normal for rentals. Priced competitively.

Lolygag for the win!

Really enjoyed our stay at lolygag! Had plenty of space for our 3 small families. Everything was just as described. Golf cart rental was definitely the highlight of the trip! Definitely would recommend renting one for getting to and from the beach. Really appreciated the two heated pools! Cinnamon shore Staff was friendly and helpful too! Thanks again for having us!

Overall we were happy with property, however, the driveway and outside shower had screws, nails and some metal apparently from a maintenance project. I feel attention needs to be paid to the exterior of the property.

Great House for Big Families!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was well-supplied. The beds were all comfy, with exception of the bunks, but I don't think bunks are known for comfort. My only negative was the lack of hand soap. Every single soap dispenser was out, so given current circumstances, we had to go find soap. I know that sounds picky, but for the price of the vacation rentals, I think soap is a necessity that could be provided. All of the linens were very nice. We have never had a bad stay at CS, and we look forward to it every year!
