Unit #2
Private second floor unit in a three unit 1900 era home entirely renovated and meticulously cleaned with non toxic cleaning supplies and bedding. Space has one queen bed, two twin beds and includes two air mattresses. Living room provides a couch and television. Full kitchen features all new appliances well as a private dinning room. Bathroom was recently modernized and provides a rich environment with all the details. Long term stays welcome or stay over night. 10 min to Litchfield.
Home was built at the end of the victorian period in 1900 and was recently renovated to expose the original features while adding a modern farm house vibe. 12` mattress in master bedroom. With organic cotton sheets. Home is cleaned chemical free. Natural fiber rugs and sustainable cork flooring reduce off -gassing creating a nontoxic air quality in the space. Water is heated with on demand hot Navien system.
Suite #2 second floor
Quiet safe neighborhood with baseball and basketball park across the street. Near the Naugatuck river and walking trail. 10 mins to downtown Litchfield and 1 mile to downtown torrington. 11 miles to Mohawk Mountain Ski Resort.
Parking on site. Close to downtown Torrington and Litchfield. Access to route 8 less than a mile

2. If shoes are wet or dirty, take them off at the bottom of the stairs to 3. prevent mud, water, or bugs from entering the home.
4. Do not place luggage on bedding.
5. Do not leave food out (on counters, pots, or pans), as it can attract - rodents and cause unpleasant smells.
6. Stainless steel cookware was chosen for your health — please keep it clean.
7. No hot items or staining substances on countertops.
8. Maintain a clean environment inside the apartment.
9. Do not clean the apartment or linens with chemical-based cleaners or fragrances (we aim for a chemical-free environment).
🚽 Plumbing & Bathrooms
1. Plumbing is sensitive — do not flush paper towels, feminine products, large amounts of hair, or anything other than toilet paper.
2. Run the bathroom exhaust fan while showering and turn it off when complete.
3. In the bathroom, only the left shower door slides — the right is fixed in place by design. Please do not force it.
🚭 Smoking, Vaping, Fire & Safety
1. No smoking, vaping, candles, or incense. A $2000 fine applies.
2. No open flames of any kind.
3. Fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen.
4. Do not run ceiling fans at high speed for days at a time.
5. No grilling.
👥 Guests & Occupancy
1. No parties or large gatherings (maximum 5 people).
2. The house comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests.
3. Additional guests: $50 per person, per night (air mattresses available if needed).
4. No unapproved overnight guests.
🐾 Pets / Animals
1. Animals are generally not permitted.
2. On rare occasions where permission is given, do not leave animals alone in the apartment.
3. Animals are not allowed on furniture or bedding.
🔊 Noise & Respect
1. Keep noise levels low to respect other guests.
2. No fights, parties, loud music, shouting, or door slamming.
3. Quiet hours: 10 PM – 9 AM (22:00 – 09:00 military time).
4. Please walk softly — this 1900 home has sturdy bones, but sound travels easily.
5. No drug use or heavy use of alcohol.
🌡️ Heating, Cooling & Energy
1. Do not set the heat higher than 75°F.
2. No box air conditioners in the front window.
3. Do not leave windows open on humid or rainy days.
4. Do not leave the stove on after use.
🛏️ Beds & Furniture
1. No jumping on the beds.
2. Do not drag furniture or heavy items across the floors.
3. Return furniture to its original position when finished.
4. Do not sleep on top of the bedding.
🚪 Doors & Parking
1. Enter through the front door.
2. If you use any exterior door, never leave it unlocked or ajar for more than 5 minutes.
3. The front door locks automatically — make sure it closes fully.
4. Do not leave doors partially open, especially in cold weather.
5. Parking is first-come, first-served in the driveway.
6. The driveway is shared — please do not leave your car there after unloading.
🛠️ Property Care
1. No holes in the walls, sticky items, or painting.
2. Please do not damage flooring.
3. Remove lint from the dryer after every use.
4. Do not remove window screens.
5. Do not go into the basement or the garage without permission.
6. Do not make any adjustments to the plumbing or electrical.
7. Do not touch the artwork.

* Once you are checked in, there are no refunds.
🛎️ Extra Services
* Monthly housekeeping available for $100 (light touch-up clean, not deep clean).
* The cleaning fee is designed to reset the apartment back to the condition it was in when you arrived.
* If, after your stay, the cleaning team finds the home in beyond average clean-up condition, you will be charged an extra cleaning fee.
⚠️ If any of these policies are broken, it will result in termination of the reservation without refund.
