Family Graduation Gathering

Traveled from Texas to attend my nieces graduation. The property was a perfect place to get away from the city and enjoy some quality time with family. It was the perfect place to unwind and forget about everything here in Texas for the weekend. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet escape.

Beautiful and peaceful

This property is perfect for a family gathering or a peaceful getaway. The view was simply breathtaking and it was clean and very well stocked. Our host was responsive and accommodating and I cannot say enough nice things about her, she was/is the perfect host. Will be booking again in the near future.

Softball Getaway

I wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the softball tournament in Sulpher. Also away from the casinos. This was a very pleasant stay. Nice and quite and beautiful. Would definitely recommend for peace and quite and beautiful views. thank you for allowing us to share your home away from home.

Beautiful waterfront property! We rented this place for the LA high school Bass fishing tournament. We really enjoyed the quiet area.

Family Fun

We stayed here for the weekend. It was a great place. Loved being waterfront. The bottom room with comfortable furniture and tv was perfect for our group.

We had a great time!

We had a small hitch in the beginning but Laura was right on top of it and settled everything. We really enjoyed the house and the area. Had a blast fishing, boating, and were able to watch the LSU game down stairs in there screened in patio. Very enjoyable!

Beautiful house on the Bayou!

We stayed at the house about four days and loved it. My husband had work in Lake Charles and that left us at the house all day to play, fish, cook, and enjoy the simple pleasures of Southwest Louisiana. The house was super clean, well stocked, and very comfy. The owner, Laura is an absolute gem. Very prompt with replies and even helped us with some fishing. My boys found a honey hole and caught dozens. SO FUN! The house seems brand new and very nicely decorated. We had everything we needed and then some. Local grocery stores and decent food options are very close without having to go all way into Lake Charles. We will definitely be tagging along to all the work trips to stay here. Thanks for having us!!

Home away from home

This was such a cute house on the river. It was so comfortable and felt like home! The kids enjoyed fishing. The host was easy to contact if we had any questions. We will definitely be going back!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Lovely property & hospitable host

We stayed for my husband’s 40th birthday and it was spectacular: peaceful, amazing views, easy access to river, clean, wonderful amenities, secure/safe, and it was even better than the photos. It was perfect for our little celebration/staycation. Laura went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure our staycation was enjoyable. Laura was by far the best VRBO host I’ve ever had. I would definitely stay there again and look forward to doing so. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
