Cosy Nook in the Heart of Zagreb
Welcome to The Nook, a luxurious yet cosy retreat located in downtown Zagreb, at the very heart of the Croatian capital. It is a walking distance from the main square “Trg bana Josipa Jelačića” as well as other tourist attractions, historic/cultural sites, and both the main train station and the main bus station. Its prime location provides our guests with the best experience of exploring the city. It enables them to explore the historic centre on foot always being close to “home” if in need of a break and/or refreshment.
The Nook will serve as your “home base” while you explore our wonderful city of Zagreb which is why we paid special attention to comfort. Guests have access to free, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi and cable TV with over 200 international channels in more than 5 languages.
We provide our guests with certain unique luxuries most other places do not. Guests are welcomed with a bottle of white wine with accompanying wine glasses and a welcome basket filled with toiletries and fruit baskets; everything a traveller needs to feel refreshed after a long trip.
In the kitchen, guests have at their disposal a coffee station equipped with a professional espresso machine along with several brands of high-quality coffee. The tea lover is also not forgotten – we provide guests with a wide variety of teas as well as an electric kettle and tea pitcher with a removable infuser basket. To go along with the deliciously made coffee or tea guests are able to make perfect toast with our lovely vintage-looking toaster.
The Nook is also equipped with an interesting library – a collection of mostly antique books in several different languages.

My name is Bojana and I am a long time traveller myself. I am a member of a very elite traveling group that has travelled the world (but is not yet done) and which has contacts on almost all 7 continents. This elite group goes by the name of my family. We are a very open bunch, enthusiastic not only about helping you experience our country but also about learning about yours. Because most of us have lived on different continents like North America, Africa, and Asia (specifically the Middle East) we are open-minded and very accepting of cultural differences. This is reflected in our choice of books available at our library at The Nook. We want to enrich your experience which is why we constantly try to improve ourselves and our offer. I am very open in communication, eager to help, and find answers to any questions you might have. While I am not providing hosting tourists I am doing the above-described job for members of my family who rely heavily on me as a search engine instead of the globally popular Google. I hope we will get to meet and learn from each other.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
The apartment is located in downtown Zagreb, extremely close to all tourist attractions but just far enough to make it quieter than the main mostly pedestrian zone around the main square. It is uniquely positioned next to the most beautiful park in downtown Zagreb called Zrinjevac, popular for having picnics by the fountain or simply reading in the shade of the magnificent trees that surround it. It is a 5-minute walk from the main square, and a 3-minute walk to the main train station. A 10-15 minute walk to the main bus station. The neighborhood is full of interesting restaurants and cafes that have popped up in recent years. Whatever your scene is, you can find it here. It is also a couple of minutes away from The Beertija, a very interesting café/club that has around 60 types of beer on the menu and also offers food. The supermarket (more of a convenience store) is just across the street. There is also a shopping mall with a big multiplex movie theatre which is a 2-minute walk away from the apartment. Basically, if you want to stay in downtown Zagreb, but not be on the main square where the noise can be a bit much and not have to climb uphill, then this is the neighbourhood for you.
