Ride your ATVs and snowmobiles directly from the house!

Brand new completely remodeled inside of home finished 15 Feb 2023. This home comfortably sleeps six adults and has an open living room, kitchen, and dining area for cooking and entertaining. Large, secluded backyard with a fire pit and deck and a large driveway to accommodate vehicles and trailers. Pets welcome please see pet fee.Easy access directly from the house to ATV/snowmobile trails, short walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocery store, etc. Large refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser, coffee maker, air fryer, crockpot, pizza maker, spices, and plenty of pots, pans.,and large selection of utensils. The kitchen island with two stools is a perfect place to cook and visit. Every room is equipped with a new smart TV. We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom and one full role of paper towel.

Our amenities, including the shower and washer/dryer, are exclusively for registered guests only. If water and electricity rates are out of the normal expectations for the number of guests there will be an additional charge. Thanks for your understanding.

Firewood is available for $6.00 a bundle. Please leave money on kitchen table with note of how many bundles used.
Gas stations, restaurants, and bars are accessible on your way to and from the trails or a short walk if you choose.

The house is lovely and well maintained! We appreciate it being pet friendly and our 2 Scotties were very comfortable. The area offers ample places to walk the dogs. We had a blast on the UTV trails. We will be back!!

The property is very clean and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable. Very convenient to the corridor for atv riding. Very close to restaurants. Our 2nd time staying here and we will be back! The host is very easy to communicate with too!

House was very clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Quite neighborhood and very nice neighbors. Beautiful deck out back to sit and enjoy your morning coffe. We were there to enjoy the UTV trails and they did not disappoint, drive your amachine right from the house. Thank you again for opening your home for others to enjoy.

Private intown newly updated home. Comfortable beds and linens, lots of towels. Great shower pressure with plenty of hot water for the 4 of us. Peaceful backyard with a large deck, firepit with additional seating. We saw two deer enjoying apples on the backyard tree. Nice kitchen island, appliances and a wide variety of cookware. There was a great selection of games available. We would stay again when in the area.

The whole house was ideal for what we needed. Within 5 miles of the event we were attending at Twin Bears Lake. Good kitchen, nice and clean accommodations. Good Wi-Fi. Quiet location. I would recommend it to anyone needing a three bedroom place to stay at a reasonable price. Jim was very helpful and accommodating.

"Our stay in Iron River was nothing short of magical—a true escape into nature’s embrace. The house itself was immaculate, cozy, and smelled wonderfully fresh, with three perfect bedrooms and a bath-and-a-half setup that made mornings effortless. But the real star? The breathtaking wilderness right outside our door.The property is nestled in a serene wonderland of towering pine trees, where the only sounds are birds singing and the wind rustling through the branches. We spent mornings sipping coffee on the deck, watching deer tiptoe through the backyard, their coats glowing in the golden light. One evening, a curious fox trotted by, and we even spotted a porcupine waddling near the tree line! (No black bear sightings this time, but knowing they roam these woods added to the wild charm.)The huge, backyard was a dream for our dog—he explored safely while we soaked in the absolute peace. And for adventure? Being able to hop on our ATVs straight from the property onto miles of scenic trails was unbeatable. After rides, we’d unwind on the patio, grilling under the stars, then dive into the stash of board games inside (the kitchen, by the way, is gorgeously remodeled and had every tool we needed).It’s the kind of quiet that sinks into your soul—no traffic, no noise, just pure tranquility. Excellent Comfort and cleanliness

Such a beautiful part of Wisconsin! Location was great for resting in the evenings after exploring Apostle Islands, Bayfield, Ashland, Pattison State Park and Amnicon State Park by day. Sunset at Meyers Beach near Cornucopia was the kind you don’t forget. The house was the cleanest of any VRBO we have stayed at and we have stayed at sooo many. Jim was very responsive and made for easy check in. The beds were so comfortable and great water pressure. AC, washer and dryer really do work. Being able to bring our dog was great so our college kid could get fun time with her. All the comforts of home so we could relax and have a great vacation!! Thank you so much for sharing up north hospitality and charm.

Our Home Away From Home

From the moment we stepped in, we felt at home! From the comfy couches to the cozy bed, this home was the perfect place to relax after a full day of sight seeing around the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to the sounds of nature. The house was stocked with everything you needed except the groceries (of course) and it was a short walk to town to the grocery store and eateries. This home and area was definitely a 10 out of 10. Our home away from home!

Excellent home

One of the better VRBOs I've stayed at. Very nice 3 bedroom, 2 baths. Nicely furnished, comfortable, very clean, nice amenities, etc. Best supplied kitchen i have seen, and plenty of towels. Can't say enough good things here. Only minor issue i had was the couch, it wasn't comfortable for me, but fine for the rest of the group. Not an issue since we weren't there sitting around much anyway.

I am a retired Marine and my wife works for the MN Department of Health. We live in Cherry, MN. I grew up in Iron River and this is my childhood home, but my wife is an Iron Ranger.

As a logical way to keep the house and use it as we like, we decided to remodel and keep the house after mom passed away last year. We absolutely love coming back to Iron River to visit many lifelong family and friends residing here as well as taking advantage of all of the outdoor activities so readily available here.

This area has so many things to do for the recreational enthusiasts and people who love to explore the great outdoors. The south shore of Lake Superior is a short 15-mile drive by car or bring your snowmobiles/ATVs and take the trails there.

If fishing and hunting is on your agenda, there are many lakes and streams and thousands of acres of public hunting land.
