This beautiful brand new waterfront guest cottage boasts stunning views of the Malaspina Strait. This is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Enjoy spectacular views from the covered patio and definitely being your camera as this is the playground for marine life. Steps to the beach and minutes away from world class hiking, kayaking, biking and fishing.
When you arrive at this waterfront cottage you will enter into a studio style living space with a small table and chairs, couch, king sized bed and small kitchen.
This cottage is pet friendly upon approval as I have three golden retrievers that live on the property and have free run of the shared one acre yard.

Rachel was an exceptional host! She thoughtfully left surprise treats for us — even including goodies for our dogs, which was such a sweet touch. The accommodations were beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The breathtaking ocean views were truly the highlight of our stay. We can’t recommend this place enough & plan on visiting again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay. Rachel was very thoughtful and accommodating. She provided a wonderful tasting bottle of wine and a toy for our fur baby. Super cozy, comfortable and clean. Breathtaking ocean view! Can’t wait to come back.

Perfect little stay in powell river!

Stayed five nights in the fall & saw some different whales thoughout our stay. The cabin it alot more equipted for cooking than we expected. With a toaster oven, hot plates & Bbq. Would recommend!

The only thing that is more outstanding than this property is the generous, kind, and all-around awesome host! We stayed 4 nights in Novembergreat time to mingle with locals. The house is beautiful, immaculate, and has everything you would need. The view of the sea channel from the house is mind-blowing, and it's fun to take a steep walk down to the rugged, private beach. We brought our dogs and the host was SO welcoming to them. This was our anniversary, and we plan to go back again!

Our stay was FABULOUS! The cabin was just the perfect size and the bed so comfy! The lack of an oven was no big deal - we easily made our meals with the available appliances. So loved seeing humpback whales everyday, along with sightings of eagles, dolphins, orcas, and our daily visit with Mr Hummingbird. The beach was easily accessible too! We didn’t leave the cabin for the first five days of our trip, there was no need to! Already booked next year!!

Serenity at Last

Rachel's idyllic cottage was the perfect spot for us to restore our energy before the long two day journey home. The setting is even better than the photos. After we settled in with a refreshment in hand on the deck, I said "the only thing that would make this better, would be for a whale to show up." And to our surprise, a whale gave us a wonderful display just before sunset. Awesome!

Wonderful mini home away from home

Great check in process, although I'd recommend arriving in the daylight if you can. Quiet home even though you aren't far from the highway. Super comfy bed and pillows. Rachel's little home away from home is spacious enough for two adults. Kitchen worked well for us. Lovely little additions were really nice and the blackberry jam is outstanding! Thank you! Our pup enjoyed the grassy area. We are already planning our summer return. Thanks for a great stay.

We were looking for a cozy quiet place to relax and unwind while having a fabulous view of the ocean. Check check check. Lovely studio cabin with all amenities you need. We took our air fryer because we like an oven. Our host Rachel was wonderful.
