The property was clean and well stocked with bath towels, bedding, and games for ages 7. We spent most of our time fishing off the dock and swimming. The walk to the boathouse was flat and easily accessible and the boathouse provided plenty of shade.We enjoyed the wildlife visiting the property. One morning a bald eagle was sitting on the pier! We spotted an eagle nest in one of the trees on the property. Each evening we would see a visiting fox. There were a flock of geese and ducks that hung out there as well.There’s plenty of nearby local and chain restaurants, grocery stores and delivery is available as well..Inside the home has steps up and down into several areas so it could be a problem for littles, aged and wheelchair bound. BYO outdoor seating, coffee pods, kitchen staples/seasonings etc.A few things need attention. The left front burner on the stove did not work. We kept finding pools of water under the right side of the refrigerator. We saw that the filter in the fridge wouldn’t lock shut so that may be where the water was coming from.Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable time with our family.Thank you for the use of your home.

Beautiful view. House not so good

They were a lot of step downs in the house. That was not in the over all descriptions of the house. They were 9 adults in our party and 3 fell while we were there. Also going out to the screen in porch is a bad drop off and is very dangerous. I would not recommend this house to anyone over 60

Terrible communication: check in instructions came after check in time, check out instructions came after time we were told to be out, and had to ask about both. One shower did not work, the other shower head was 4’ tall. Host was made aware the night of.

Beware of Lots of Dog hair

We had a great stay. The house wasn’t as clean as it should. The house was covered in dog hair. It was on all the beds and furniture, Our socks would be covered just walking around inside. Thankfully we brought our own linens. The kitchen isn’t very well stocked if you like to cook. But, the location was perfect!

Best Place for the 4th July

This place has amazing view and get location for 4th July. This place is nicely furnished. I gave the cleanliness a two because one of the bedroom sheets had hair on pillow and sheets were pilled. The grill was super dirty and so much grease we had to keep a cup of water near because of the flare ups. We checked in and I opened up the trifold doors to bedroom and door fell off. I had to catch it from falling on my friend. You have to walk through that bedroom to get to the bathroom. One of the burners doesn’t work. If you stay here and you plan to cook bring your own cookware, we had one tiny bowl. No toaster. They provide you with one trash bag, one toilet roll for each bathroom and one dishwasher tablet. We had to buy multi cleaner. This place has several stairs and uneven thresholds. I definitely won’t recommend for elderly or very young kids.
