The Cabin at Curlew Lake - beautiful home with private dock

Curlew Lake offers year-round relaxation and fun activities. This 921-acre lake near Republic, WA provides opportunities for kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, sailing, and hunting. It is a great place to be active or curl up and read a book in our window seat with a lake view. You can cook to your heart's content in our well-appointed kitchen or enjoy breakfast on our spacious dock. This is also a great place for year-round wildlife viewing with deer regularly crossing the lake, and eagle and osprey nests visible from the house. Bring your passport and enjoy golfing at Christina Lake Golf Club in Canada. For those interested in geology, Republic is home to the Stone Rose Interpretive Center. Just a few steps out the front door you will find a 24-mile hiking/biking trail that stretches north to the Canadian border!
So set out and explore, or stay put and relax. Just be sure to enjoy!

This place was very relaxing and accommodating. The house was nice and cool in the almost 100 degree weather and dock was great. Thisnis on our list to come back and stay as none of us wanted to leave!!

Fantastic Long Weekend

Absolutely beyond pleased with our stay at the Cabin at Curlew Lake! Everything was beyond our expectations and we all had such a great time - only problem was having to leave! Family vacation

We all had a relaxing time at the lake cabin. We loved being able to enjoy the lake view through the house front room windows during the heat of the day. It was great having the use of a private dock. We had everything we needed. A great place to stay.

Return to Paradise

It had been 11 years since our last visit to Curlew, a place we used to vacation every year. This trip was absolutely incredible! The whole family had a fantastic time fishing, swimming, boating, and taking walks along the trail. The house and property were amazing. We can’t wait to return!

Lake Curlew Retreat

Myself and my family had a great stay. The place was fantastic and exceeded expectations! Modern, open floor plan with all the amenities from home. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was like sleeping on a cloud. Literally feet away from your private dock out the back door and feet away from the Ferry County Rail Trail out your front door. The Owner was incredibly responsive and helpful with all of our questions and adventures during our stay. We will definitely be back for another visit. Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic Home - Perfect for Relaxing

We had an amazing time in the home. The owner was so great to work with and always answered my questions promptly. The kitchen was way bigger than we expected and was thoroughly stocked. The floor plan of the house is excellent and the main living area with the windows overlooking the water are breath-taking. We got a little rain one day and enjoyed playing many of the games (and puzzles) provided in the closet. We spent most of our time out on the dock fishing.The neighbors were all so friendly too. What a great house! Will definitely consider staying again!

Amazing House and Location

We had the best time staying at this property. The minute we stepped in and saw the view we all relaxed and felt the stress of the city start to fade. The view was incredible. The lake with the hills behind was so beautiful. We couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful Lake Curlew is. The house was immaculate and everything looked really new. The beds were very comfortable and we slept so well. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was only a short drive into Republic to load up on groceries. You can tell the owners were very thoughtful about their property and the comfort of their guests. The dock was wonderful. We spent most of our time out on the dock. We did buy an umbrella at the local hardware store because it was quite hot. The kids swam and we paddle boarded. We caught quite a few bass off the dock using senko bait. It was really fun. We caught maybe 6-15 each day. They were mostly little guys but they were fun to catch. Our son caught a really nice size bass which he was thrilled about. There are also a lot of perch that you can see from the dock. You won't regret staying at this home. We had a wonderful time.

We are grateful to be able to share our home and the beautiful location at Curlew Lake with our guests. This property has been in our family for four generations and has been a treasured place for our family to gather. The original uninsured cabin caught fire and it spent several years as an empty lot. We are glad to have you as our guest so that the rebuilt home and property can continue to be enjoyed even when we are not there. We ask that you take care of our home when you visit and be mindful of our wonderful neighbors :)

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This is one of the most beautiful spots on the lake! The large dock has plenty of room for everyone and is a great place to sit and take in the view! Across from us is Wiseman's Island and it is a great place to spot Eagles and Osprey nesting. We love the rail trail that is right outside our front door. Walk either direction on the trail for beautiful views and great exercise!

Our property is newer and has great amenities! We just installed a large new fire pit outside so bring some firewood! We have a Webber BBQ on the patio for your use with a chimney starter. A large picnic table on the patio provides outdoor seating for meals and there are extra chairs that can be brought down to the dock. We have a full game closet with both adult and kid's board games and books. We also have an extensive movie collection available. Plenty to keep you entertained on a rainy day! There is also a full-size washer and dryer available. One thing to note is that we do not generally provide paper towels/paper napkins. To be more sustainable, there are cloth napkins and lots of cloth kitchen towels available. If you prefer to use paper towels, please plan to bring some with you.
