Home away from home-Quiet cozy casita

This quiet cozy home is Less than a mile away from the airport. We welcome you to come to enjoy your own private pool. You will also have a dedicated workspace with a desk. Close to all your shopping needs and Yuma golf country club. Algodones is about 25 minutes, and San Luis Mexico is approx. 45 minutes. Please note POOL IS NOT GATED, AND NOT HEATED. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN NEVER LEAVE THEM UNATTENDED.
The space
We offer 3 bedrooms each bedroom has a queen bed and a TV.. 2 full baths with one tub. We also have a child's bed and a crib. TV in the living room and all bedrooms. wifi provided, and a desk if you're on a business trip. Washer and dryer Access. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee machine, microwave, full-size refrigerator Cooking utensils. Enjoy your first cup of coffee is on us. Enjoy a relaxing time in our beautiful outdoor pool area. We provide a Charcoal Bbq Grill. We love all pets, Although please keep in mind some people have allergies. To be courteous to all of our guests we DO NOT allow pets, No smoking in the house.

The Entire house, EXCEPT for the GARAGE and 2 Closets across from the master and the first closet at the entrance will be used as utility/ supplies.

We kindly as that you close and tie Patio umbrellas at the end of the day, it gets windy here sometimes.

BBQ- to enjoy during your stay, don't forget it's a charcoal grill. (Charcoal not provided ) Please, we ask that you empty ashes once cooled off into the trash can.

Very cozy and quiet. Quiet neighborhood. And even though it’s close to the small airport, we never really heard the planes in the evening. Not loud during the day when inside the house. The host was always prompt to reply to all chats.

Cute and family friendly

Our family enjoyed our time at this property. Very cozy and had everything we needed. Host even ensured we had enough towels and was very accommodating. Neighborhood was great and felt very safe to take a run.

Excellent value

From reservation to check out, the entire experience was fantastic. Spent most of our time in the awesome back yard around the pool. Host was very responsive. Great experience for the price.

Weekend Stay

We stayed over the weekend. It was a great place for us. Centrally located. Neighborhood is quiet. House is a little older than what we’ve stayed at, but we knew that from the listing and pictures. Overall very good stay.

Great house that is very spacious!

We really love our stay there. The pool and toys were so great for my kids and made the traveling so much easier. The living room is large and left lots of room to play together as a family. So many great memories were made during our stay here. It was so nice to cook together and play games, and enjoy everything the amazing house had to offer.

Accommodating owner

The owner was pleasant and accommodating. The house was nice and comfortable. Neighborhood was nice for walks. Pool was nice but cold. (I was there in October so it wasn't super hot)

The host was attentive and the home looked lovely. We were unable to use the living room do to the smell and sent that came from the the water damage in part of the living room. Host compenfor the inconvenience was unsatisfactory. We all were affected by the allergens in the home from the smell that the host layer stated was not mold. She stated it was from the materials from roof to ceiling that got wet bit regardless; it caused allergy issues, headaches and skin irritation when in the living room and other parts of the home if the screendoor was not open and the defusser we had to buy was not on.

Welcoming

My family and l enjoyed our stay. Good location near a multitude of things in yuma. Backyard is nice and relaxing and the house itself is welcoming. Only things I can take issue with are the pool chlorine level was very high and wasn't on the correct filter run cycle. Also for having to pay a cleaning fee, I expected the house to be cleaner. The kitchen cabinets were sticky and bathrooms were meh. Overall though.... I'd stay again.

The property was well-landscaped outside. The inside was clean, but the home is dated. Here's what I noted:Popcorn ceiling had water stains in the living room. The kitchen cabinets were scuffed and greasy/sticky.The dresser top in the master bedroom was peeling and torn. The blinds were broken and missing vanes. The dishwasher was not emptied by the cleaners. We had to search for coffee cups until we discovered they were still in the dishwasher.The pool was dirty. Even though it was unheated, we still would have used it in the 103 degree afternoons, except that it was dirty. The clocks in the living room and the kitchen had dead batteries, so the time was wrong. Not a big deal, but if you have a clock on the wall, the expectation is that it would work. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were old and flat. The showers both had dirty grout and mold. In the bathtub, there was a flat circle of plastic that served as the plug, and it was hard to see it when the shower curtain was closed. My partner slipped on it and fell down in the tub. All in all, I would compare the accommodations to a older motel in a small town. Clean, but very dated. Certainly not worth the cost for 2 couples. I expected better quality for the price.

Pool had dirt on the bottom. Looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.
This is how we found the coffee cups. Dishwasher not emptied after last cleaning.
Blinds in the living room were missing and the pull cord did not work.
