Pet friendly, Family Homestead 1 hr from the coast!

Beautiful and spacious historic home that is perfect for your family and friends. Large kitchen and dining area that has seating for 18, large front porch that offers a Blackstone grill, two other porches as well as a patio and fire pit! Large yard with swing and outdoor games available!

The Second floor is where bedrooms 1-4 are located .

The third floor attic ‘Bunkhouse’ houses 2 other bedrooms and a den with a futon. This area is perfect for over flow. It is in the process of being all season so please be patient.


We do have a property cat, Miss Daphne, that you may or may not see perusing the house. She loves people and is friendly. Her mission is to keep the house in order!

We are dog friendly and only ask that you pick up promptly after they do their duty!

We are always available whether in person or a text or phone call away .

A friendly reminder that no large parties other than guests in the rental are permitted. The neighborhood will appreciate quiet time (no loud music ) after 10pm. Plenty of space inside to continue the evenings .

Within walking distance to the beach , library , coffee shop, mercantile, and wedding venue . Grocery store and gas station 5 minutes away! 15 minutes to Augusta for additional restaurants and shopping.

Golf course, hiking, boat launch within minutes from the property

On request, we can provide a traditional Maine Lobster Feast at an additional fee!

We were attending a wedding next door and this was a great place to stay. Very convenient location, big kitchen and blackstone grill outside, plenty of sleeping options, two minutes to town and the host was very quick to respond to any questions and requests. All made for a nice weekend.

Great stay!

We were very pleased with the accommodations. Everything was just as stated on the listing. Our family stayed here for a wedding labor day weekend. The house is very well equipped and we truly appreciate the "extras" the host provided!

Long weekend

Lovely property to stay with family and friends. Lots of different spaces to spend time in and the hosts were very welcoming! Felt like we were staying at a friend's house!

I felt at home and loved

Memorable and heartwarming stay

Sally is a thoughtfull and generous host with a gigantic villa great for family or friend gathering! You only have to bring your happy mood everything else is being taken care of. Highly recommended!

Family wedding

The property was perfect for our family attending a wedding in Feyette. The home was well suited for our family, which included two grandchildren and three dogs! This home was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Sally was very responsive with any questions we had, and went above and beyond with welcoming us to her property. Snacks and a refrigerator stocked with bottled water and selzer made for a wonderful start of our stay, after a long day of travel.. My only suggestion would be to arrive at the property during daylight hours, as the roads in Maine have little to no street lighting.

Beechcraft Home in Winthrop, ME

Very spacious and well appointed home. Perfect for a large extended family or group. Every household amenity was available to us. Hosts were extremely accommodating and easily available for contact. It was a pleasure renting from them.

Wonderful country manor, perfect for family and friends to enjoy time together

We were in Winthrop for a family wedding at Harvest Moon Farms. The location was perfect and the home is so magical. Plenty of space to spread out, or come together for family time. We absolutely loved it! The owners were in communication before, during, and after our visit. Thank you very much!

Family Visit

Our family gathered together for a long weekend to celebrate the life of the matriarch of the family. The house was perfect for all of us to hang out and visit. Lots of different spaces, comfortable and relaxing. It was so nice to have everyone under one roof rather than in separate hotel rooms. Sally the host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Loved it!

Wedding/Family weekend

Our family stay at this home was absolutely PERFECT! We had 4 generations in the home for our daughter's wedding, which was held right next door. We couldn't have picked a more convenient location for our stay. We all walked down to the venue at times.We loved all the amenities as well, the house was STOCKED with everything! Really enjoyed the fire pit each evening out on the front porch, such a memorable time, thank you Sally~

Weekend Away

My family spent the weekend at this beautiful home and Sally & David were amazing to communicate with and very thoughtful! From the thoughtful flowers & card left for me to allowing us to use their home host my senior daughter and a group of her friends to get ready and take photos for prom! It was a perfect day! The house has everything everything you’d need!

Perfect Home to Gather with Family and Friends!

This was an amazing property and the best space to gather with family and friends over my wedding weekend at a local venue (harvest moon farm). We had 12 adults stay at the house and there was ample space for everyone to come together or spread out in different spaces which also made getting ready a breeze! It is decorated so beautifully and feels like home. There is plenty of parking and it was so nice to enjoy some quiet time on the porches. The host, Sally, has great communication and is so accommodating and thoughtful! If you're thinking about booking this home, do it!

Beautiful property and restful stay!

We had a wonderful weekend stay! Sally was a very communicative hostess and had a fun Maine picture book for our baby to enjoy. We stayed for a wedding at the nearby Silver Oaks venue - the location was very convenient! Future guests should know that the music from the venue can be heard from the house, and there may be some cat hair. Neither were a problem for us (and as cat people ourselves, made us feel right at home)! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Large home great for big gathering

We enjoyed our 5 day stay with family to attend Colby College graduation. We especially appreciated the number of bedrooms and comfortable beds. Note there is just 1 bathroom upstairs to access from the bedrooms. The other bathroom is on the main floor. We enjoyed the front porch despite the busy road that is heavily traveled. When windows are closed the road noise is minimal within the home. We had a wonderful stay and an enjoyable trip to Maine

Weekend playing golf (Samoset, Belgrade Lakes and Cape Neddickwith great friends, my son and nephew.

The property is an old New England gem. Everything we needed was available to us the moment we set foot inside. There was someplace for us all to have our individual space when necessary, but more than that, gathering to have a few glasses of wine and many laughs. I thank the owners for making our special golf weekend another great addition to our love of life, friends, family and golfing together.

Winthrop family reunion

We had a wonderful stay at Beechcroft Manor! Check-in was easy and we even got a message that we could arrive early if needed. The house was beautiful with plenty of room for ourselves, children and grandchildren. The only downfall was the steepness of the staircase leading up to the second floor as we were also traveling with my 95 year old mother who , although quite spry, could never make it up those stairs. She was comfortable on a recliner in the living room though, and there were plenty of linens available to set her up quite nicely. Sally was a great communicator and attended to our every need. From toothpaste, toilet paper to coffee, it was all provided! (The basket of goodies to make s’mores was my grandchildren’s favorite,of course!) Location was perfect for us as we were attending a family reunion in Litchfield but the house is located on the Main Street and cars going by do distract from the lovely front porch. Overall though a wonderful experience and a beautiful home. Would definitely book again. Thank you Sally and Dave!
