This home was perfect for our Thanksgiving family getaway. We really enjoyed everything about the house, especially the fenced yard for the dogs. I would definitely stay here again. The house was exceptionally clean.

Great golf getaway

We needed a place with two separate bedrooms. This property fit the bill. Perfect for our trip. Nice accommodations. Would definitely recommend this property.

Peaceful and Clean

This home is situated in a very peaceful neighborhood. It was very clean and had little things that made it great like the snack tray and the K-cups. The fenced yard was great for our fur baby.

Access

Overall, our stay was very quiet, peaceful and enjoyable. But I learned a valuable lesson when considering access to rentals. In this case my husband & I, both being over 70 yrs old could not access the property using the proper back door due to no handrails for assistance. We did manage to use the back deck entrance with an amount of problems, but loading & re-loading was difficult.

Family Visit

We wanted a property that was close to family and driving distance to our favorite beach, Folly beach. The property is nestled near the lake, golf, State parks, I95 and great dining options. We had dinner at the Lake House and the food was outstanding. The property was updated, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere. The Perfect Getaway

Stayed at Kindred Spirits Retreat while mu husband and I looked at properties. A beautiful place to stay. The owner was so helpful and bent over backwards to insure our stay was perfect. Would rent from him again in a heartbeat. A dog lover to boot!

Comfortable and Convenient

We had a great stay here. The house is very nice with everything we needed to enjoy family time. We appreciated all the extra details. The interior is bright and spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This property is our new favorite place to stay in Santee!

🌸 Fabulous Stay 🌸

My family and I really enjoyed staying here! There was plenty of room for everyone. Very clean which is a plus! We enjoyed having all the household essentials which made it much easier for us to make memories instead of running to get everything you need. Kids loved it!

This house is our go to for staying on our way to Cocoa Beach. It’s a totally renovated home right near Lake Marion and so peaceful. The yard is fenced a great for the dogs. Thank you so much Mike.

Great Stop on a long trip

Had a long trip up the east coast on I-95 and stopped at this nice secluded spot right off the interstate. Great backyard for the kids to play in with a view of the river.

Best hidden Gem in Santee

I cannot begin to say enough about this home! All the amenities one could think of. All the beds were absolutely comfortable, the house was immaculate and the back yard was super huge for our kids to play in. No better place in Santee than this. Must stay!!

Beautiful home at Lake Marion

Michael's home is just a few miles off I-95 coming from the south and just over a mile to get back on the highway. It sits one house from the lake and is beautifully remodeled. Michael the host is extremely helpful and very responsive. The home meets everything in the description and more. It's a large home with a fully fenced yard. We came with two dachshund puppies and and an adult dachshund and we felt very safe that there was no way they would be able to wander out of the yard. We only used one bedroom but the master has a large en suite full bath and there are two other bedrooms that share a bath. The kitchen, dining and living area are also large, warm and inviting with new appliances. We loved the between-the-glass patio door blinds. They are fabulous. The furniture and matress are very comfortable and the internet is great. Of course we came yesterday in early February but I think this would be a great place to stay when the weather is warmer on the largest lake in SC. Thank you Michael, looking forward to staying here again!
