Esta casa de lujo está ubicada en el área exclusiva de Big Springs de Northstar, que está justo al lado del remonte "Home Run" del Ritz. Viene con servicio de transporte gratuito al Village y acceso a la piscina, el gimnasio, el área de juegos y las canchas del Centro de recreación para propietarios de viviendas. Esta casa tiene un ambiente espacioso y espacioso con muchas ventanas y buen sol. La casa está muy limpia y está en excelentes condiciones. Pasamos un año entero viviendo en esta maravillosa casa nueva en Northstar con nuestra familia de 6. Es la escapada de montaña perfecta, verano o invierno. Venga a disfrutar del entorno boscoso y la decoración contemporánea de montaña. Cuando hay suficiente nieve, también puede esquiar el camino del fuego desde el sendero 'Home Run' para llegar a la casa. Puedes esquiar desde la casa hasta el telesilla Home Run, que te lleva al Ritz y a la mitad de la montaña cuando hay buena nieve.

Check in was super easy. The place is clean, well laid out, with enough room for multiple people to have their own space while at the same time having a large dining area, large living room/sitting area, and large deck for everybody to get together. More bikes, scooters, balls, puzzles, games, beach chairs, books, other stuff than you can possibly take advantage of in less than a week. The kitchen has top of the line appliances, with more different pots, pans, utensils, knives, plates, glasses, etc. than you are likely to use (but they are all there if and when you need them). Beds super comfortable, hot tub great, washer/dryer first class. Can't say enough. Just 10/10 in every way.

Amazing Summer Stay in Northstar

We had such an incredible time at this Northstar home. It has everything you need for summer fun - SUPs and bikes and water toys. The pool is quite nice, and we've stayed in most of the HOAs with pools in the area--this was our favorite. The home itself was perfect for a family with teens who enjoyed the separate upstairs den while we could relax on the deck or the other living room area. Easy walk to the village with food options and roller skating. Or an easy 15 minute drive into Kings Beach at lake tahoe or Truckee. For us, with friends in the area, the central location was key. I hope we can come back soon!

Very lovely home but take note…

Very lovely, clean and easy home to stay for my family and me. Lots of space upstairs and downstairs. Super helpful to have 4 full bathrooms (2 downstairs and 2 upstairs). The playroom/game space was great for the kids. Lots of toys, although quite a few were pretty old and falling apart. My kids (1 year old and 3 year old) loved playing with the play food and kitchen but were also fascinated by the stairs which are right outside the playroom. The AC units work okay in the bedrooms but it got pretty stuffy at night and only some windows have screens, so we couldn’t open as many windows as we would have liked. There also aren’t a ton of places to play outside since you’re in the forest (obviously) and it’s tough to walk around due to pretty steep roads (need a car/shuttle to get to the Northstar Village or anywhere). Also take note that the bed in the master bedroom downstairs is about 4 feet off the ground. If you have elderly people or folks with limited mobility staying with you, they’ll probably have some difficulty with the downstairs bedroom (like my parents did). Overall we enjoyed the house but did want to mention some of the above things we noticed during our stay.

Executive Home,..not soo much.

We’re an active family of five that has booked nearly a dozen VRBO trips in the North Star area, but this experience was disappointing. Ironically, VRBO advertises the ability to “experience a home without the owner,” yet this rental felt like we had walked into someone’s personal cabin while they were still living there.The house was cluttered with personal items in the garage, hallways, and bedrooms. Kitchenware was mismatched and unclean, requiring rewashing. The fireplace lacked kindling and wood, making it difficult to start a fire. A visibly full Dyson vacuum was hanging in the kitchen/dining area, and the master bedroom fireplace was broken. The upstairs was filled with old toys, games, and puzzles—some might appreciate the access, but it added to the feeling that this was someone’s lived-in home rather than a properly managed rental.Additionally, the advertised “walk” to the village is actually a steep and poorly marked hike, especially when snow is present. It’s not suitable for toddlers, ski boots, or elderly guests, and we ended up having to drive instead.Advice for Future Renters: If you’re expecting a professionally managed rental, this may not be the best choice. Be prepared for a home that feels very lived-in, and plan to drive to the village rather than walk.

Wonderful Home, Great Location

Two small families on an annual trip, we loved this house. Short walk to Home Run and fun ski through the homes to get back to the cul-de-sac. Plenty of space and well appointed.

Great place for families

We were a group of friends with kids and this place was perfect. Spacious, very well-equipped, and close to the Highlands gondola plus free on-demand shuttle to the village that picks you up at the house. Communication with the host was great, though staying here over MLK, it wasn’t possible to get a minor technical issue in the kitchen resolved promptly — but that wasn’t a huge issue. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here very much!

Beautiful home with amazing space

The perfect home for families with children. Huge comfy beds and linens and a wonderful kitchen stocked with all the items to cook some fabulous meals. The upstairs was perfect for our children with so much space for them to play. Great communication and so conveniently located in Northstar with a shuttle service for easy skiing.

Mountain Retreat with 3 Generations

The house was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were roomy with plenty of drawers and closet space. Amazing natural light throughout the home. Great playroom where we were also able to set up a work space. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The kitchen was also great. We cooked breakfasts and dinners every day. The location was also great. We were close to downtown Truckee and the Lake, where we enjoyed numerous activities including kayaking, swimming and the adjacent playground.

Perfect for families at Northstar

It is hard to find any faults with this property. It was perfect for two families on a ski vacation. The kitchen was excellent and has everything for cooking large meals for a crowd.

Beautiful home, perfect for multiple families skiing

Hands down the best place we've stayed in Northstar. The home is beautiful with a great kitchen that made preparing meals for our group super easy. The shuttles were super convenient, door to village - and worst case the ski down Home Run + 10 minute walk to the house was really not bad either as an alternative.

Great ski house

This ski house was huge and well maintained. Very comfortable for 3 couples, and could have fit many more (especially kids). The shuttle to and from the mountain is excellent, as was the snow plow service during a winter storm. House has two tvs and games for the days you may get stuck inside. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend.

Newer and higher-end home near lifts. Can walk down to the village and on a good snow day, ski down to homerun lift. Northstar is a destination resort for all seasons with snow sports in the winter and great hiking and Mt. biking the rest of the year.

This is a family home and has great play areas for the kids, as well as toys and games for the entire family.

We have sleds, snow-shoes, toys, books, games etc for the kids since we have 4 kids, now ages 12-19, who spent a lot of time there since they were 5.
