You wont be in kansas anymore in this house entirely inspired by Wizard of Oz. 7 bedrooms 3 baths each designed to bring you into the story of Oz. Fully loaded kitchen and dining room to host a large dinner. Large living room and den will allow for plenty of gathering spaces. Parking is great, you can fit 4 cars in the back drive, 3 cars in the alley parking and the house sits on 1/2 acer corner lot so bring the trailers filled with ATV's and hit little sahara or pack a shovel and go dig for crystals. Tv's you ask, we have 3 all streaming with netflix, hulu and Prime. Come on guys you will love it too.

We have stayed at many properties through VRBO and others and by far and away, this has to have been the most thought out VRBO themed house. It was decorated in the Wizard of Oz theme so thoroughly that I suspect it could be converted into a museum. The home was more than well stocked with plates, bowls, and cooking hardware. Things are meticulously labeled and everything has its place. The rooms are well stocked and every room represents a character in the Wizard of Oz. There is an exciting scavenger hunt to give you a little game to play when you get there. And the original Wizard of Oz DVD is available, as is the movie Wicked (which our kids promptly watched). The home is about 30 minutes from the Great Salt Plains Lake including some good fishing off the spillway as well as digging for crystals on the other side of the lake. We didn’t have much luck fishing but other parties nearby did. The crystal digging took a bit of practice figuring out what you are looking for but once you get one, the speed of discovery picks up fast. About 40 minutes in the opposite direction is Alabaster Caverns which was great. It’s about 30-40 minutes of walking through the caverns and well worth it. Bats fly around your head within feet which is pretty surreal. The home is cute on the outside and stands out in the neighborhood since it is well cared for and relatively newly painted. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Meet Up With Friends

Very neat decor. Lots of fun to be had and great places to relax. Big kitchen for cooking and had everything you needed. Host was very helpful and got back to us quickly.

I have stayed at a lot of Vrbos. This one had everything a large group needed. Beds, towels, dishes, pots, utensils, coffee, spices, seats, common areas, privacy, parking, dish washer, washing machine, dryer, you get the idea. It’s not luxury but very nice snd very comfortable and clean. Quirky but fun. Walk to town square is one block. Highly recommend.

Amazing Experience

We came to town for the big cruise and car show and this house had Everything we needed it was 2 blocks from downtown where the car show was so we could walk back and forth The home is so spacious and beautifully decorated with everything wizard of oz And the host went above and beyond when I was struggling with the app to book my stay We will be back next year and will definitely be staying again

One of a kind Oz experience!

This huge house was amazing in it's style and story of The Wizard of Oz! Each room was themed in a character or experience. This home was curated with a love for this classic movie. You won't believe the detail! It was colorful and imaginative but also comfortable. Even the men in our group loved it. There was so much room for our large family to spread out. Tons of seating and gathering space including outdoors. Kitchen was beautifully stocked and bathrooms had great towels. The owners thought of everything. It's about 30 minutes aways from fun activities including salt plains, caverns and sand dunes. There is a cute little diner about 5 minutes away. This is a great family "experience" that I highly recommend. We will be back.
