This listing is a little difficult to find. Thankful my local friend scouted out the place before we got there. The house once inside was amazing and beautiful and tastefully decorated. There was a little confusion on the code used to get in. Beds were comfy and place was very clean.

Not at all what we expected. Didnt know it was located above a car shop til last minute, alot of stairs, didnt know where to park, not a great neighborhood, one bedroom you cant even sleep in because its loud from neighbors and traffic. Grandkids had to sleep in "our room". Then our room started to leak near ceiling fan. Not well equiped in kitchen for family to stay. We took pictures when we got there and when we left so we can prove we left it like we found it. We left trash because we had no idea where to take it. I did dishes, laundry and pulled blankets up on bed. Didnt know we were going to be charged 55 for cleaning either.

Our stay in Omaha was good, we enjoyed our accommodations and overall rate this home a GOOD! The layout was nice and what we liked the best was the privacy. This was our first time to Omaha and we found it to be very nice location to visit. The food was good and we loved the Zoo. So nice to see everything green and clean for being a big city. Thank you to the host for always accommodating and responding quickly. If we ever decide to come visit again we will definitely check first to see if this rental is available.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and has easy accessibility. Both my husband and son did not exactly approved the whole deal when we got to the vicinity. However once we got into the apartment they were bought over. They had wanted us to go to a hotel instead when they saw the building. We did go into the apartment to check it out before we decided to bring our stuff into it. I am glad we liked the place. Thank you for everything. We stayed only two nights and if we ever go by that way again I wouldn’t mind staying there a little longer. So do not judge the book by its cover. The owner did not contact us at all but it was okay nonetheless.

This was a lovely apartment withveasy access to downtown Omaha. Yes, the street was noisy, but were from a city, so it didn't bother us or our kids. It was perfect for our stay.

Smelled of smoke very steep stairs 19 of them Not in good part of town over priced for what it is! Parking area not marked at all! We let a day early got no sleep very busy Hiway traffic all night long!

Absolutely Horrifying Experience – Stay Away This was one of the most unsettling travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the start, we had major issues checking in. The unit appeared to have signs of a break-in, our assigned parking spot was taken, and we couldn’t get ahold of the host—who we later learned was out of the country. After hours of frustration, Expedia finally reached someone who miraculously gave us access. The interior of the unit was fine at first. But then things took a disturbing turn. While we were out, someone entered the property. We returned to find signs that our belongings had been disturbed. The same car was still in our parking spot. Most alarmingly, we discovered used needles inside the unit. We left immediately—it was horrifying and completely unsafe. We strongly suspect that the so-called “cleaner” is living in the property when it’s unoccupied and using drugs inside. We contacted Expedia, who said they would reach out to the host, but we’ve had zero communication or resolution. The host never responded to a single call or text. We ended up having to book a hotel for the rest of our trip—at our own expense. To make matters worse, this place had glowing reviews, which made the experience even more frustrating and unsettling. Do not rent this property. Save yourself the money, stress, and trauma. No one should have to go through what we did.

Not child friendly

I chose this place for the price point, location, and that it was child friendly, but it was not child friendly. It's located on top of a business on a very busy street so you have to climb a steep staircase to get to it. When you have a small child steep open stair cases are not child friendly, especially when you have to bring all your luggage in and out. All we heard is traffic all day and night. The blinds didn't get dark enough and the primary bedroom light didn't shut all the way off. They had a pack and play and a high chair that were brand new in box and required us to completely assemble them. The description of the business it was located on top of wasn't even very accurate because it's hard to find that business name on the building from the main street. You see AJs first. There were several bags of trash in the one parking spot allocated for the VRBO, so we parked a little bit away from it.Overall the apartment was cute but super loud, difficult to initially find and not a great fit for our needs with a child.

May 2025 stay

The apartment is really nice and well maintained. It was centrally located for everything we wanted to see. The neighbors were very quiet but seemed friendly. It was a little difficult to find as GPS sent you in circles and the apartment door itself was on the opposite side of the building from the road.

NO NEXT TIME

HOST ANSWERD A CALL. BUT NOISE FROM CARS MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP. NOT ENOUGH COOKING PANS TO REALLY COOK. MANY, MANY STEPS TO GET TO APT. WAS NOT DO CLEAN. FOUND BLOOD ON THE BEDSPEAD.

Concert stay

We loved the property upstairs. A little taken aback by the entry location. Everything we needed was available to us. I would be very comfortable with a longer stay. Thanks for showing us great hospitality.

Cute, functional and clean 2 bedroom apartment

Cute, functional and clean 2 bedroom apartment above an auto sales business. A little tricky to locate but once you do, you will find an off street parking space marked for the unit’s use. After you locate the door to the unit you will have 18 steep stairs up to the living space. Street noise can be loud at times but HVAC system was louder than the street noise and neither impeded sleep but ear plugs were provided just in case. Some outlets were also not working including in the bathroom, next to the bed in the back bedroom and dining area.

In all honesty

Me and my friend group (4 of us total) booked this location. Finding the location was difficult with the location and description both not up to date. It’s an above an auto shop apartment verbo, and while that’s fine the traffic was extremely noisy and again finding it was hard. Getting into the apartment was simple enough and the cleanliness was good, but none of the outlets worked besides 3-4 scattered around the place. Not a single over head light or lamp worked, so going to the bathroom at night was accompanied by phone light. The stay itself was good we went to the zoo but the verbo itself needs some serious updating on the owners part.

Central Location to all kinds of fun

Hello - My family and I came to stay for a long weekend from out of state. We were able to get to Werner Park, Omaha Zoo, Funplex & the Luminarium in less than 15-20 minutes. The space was plenty for us and had all the essentials you could ask for. We ran into a WIFI issue that we were helped with right away. The only downfall is the street noise especially at night - I am a light sleeper and found it difficult to personally fall/stay asleep even with ambient noise/headphones. The kids and husband weren't as affected but still agreed the noise got to be a lot.

Affordable lodging.

Had a little bit of a problem finding it at first. Did not expect an apartment above a business. Clean facilities with all needed amenities. Apartment is on a loud and busy road, however, host did supply earplugs. Host very responsive to messages. Just wish futon was located in living room instead of in bedroom with other bed.
