Large Home on Bluewater/Sleep 24/with boats

On 4 acres of beautiful Bluewater Creek. Great fishing. Sleeps 24. Boathouse has deck and 2 boat lifts (boats available for a fee). Gourmet kitchen. Blackstone grill. Large events and weddings welcome. However, for events over 16 people, there are additional charges and may require supervision that we will provide (contact us for more info). Tons of parking. Free Wifi and all rooms equipped with internet TV. Laundry room available. Elevator. Catering and party planning can be arranged.

The space
First floor: Gourmet kitchen, dining room, breakfast nook, 2 living rooms, half bath; master bedroom with king, walk-in closet, 5-piece full bath, laundry room. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa.

Second floor: north side has two bedrooms with private toilet/vanity and shared shower--each bedroom has two queen beds; south side has a suite with king bed, full bath, kitchen, and living room (with queen sleeper sofa); the room in the center of the floor at the top of the stairs has 8 bunkbeds.

All rooms have internet TVs.

Back deck has Blackstone grill.

RV electric hookups are available.

Guest access
The entire main house is available. The first floor is approximately 3300 sq ft and can easily entertain over 100 people for events.

The lawn is level, spacious, and in excellent condition. It can be used for ceremonies, party tents, and parking.

The guest house is under renovation.

Other things to note
Bluewater Creek is renowned for its trophy bass, bluegill, stripes, and catfish. You can catch all these species from the bank or deck, or rent one of our boats. Fishing guide can be arranged--a special treat is setting limb lines at night for monster catfish. Our property is located near the mouth where Bluewater flows into the Tennessee River just west of Wheeler Dam. We have two boat ramps if you would like to launch your own boat. Kayaks, canoes, cornhole, and other yard games provided.

We are less than 5 minutes from several great southern style restaurants and Elgin crossroads (gas, groceries, fast food). 20 minutes from historic Florence and the Quad Cities (mall, big box stores, theater, and virtually every type of dining). Family fun available at nearby Killen Time (mini golf, electronic shooting galley, laser tag, and retro arcade).

Pets are welcome but they need to stay off of the furniture and be cleaned up after. There is a fenced off area for dogs to run off leash.
