This beautiful home has been in our family for for almost 60 years offers the perfect place to relax and unwind. Most of the fun will be out and around the lake. Swim in crystal clear spring fed water, boat, water ski, tube, or Fish, whatever your pleasure.

Gradual and sandy water entry is perfect for small children. Take out the row or paddle boat and explore the nature filled shoreline. Bring your own boat or rent one from the local marina since the dock is available for your use.

We love the lake. House is plenty big enough for all 10 of us. Check in couldn't of been any easier. The house owner is always available if you have any questions.

As Maine residents, this home was idyllic for our states charm, comfort and resilience through time. You could feel the generational love and care that went into this home. We had everything we needed and more. We were so comfortable. Plenty of space inside and out. Perfect for a family getaway. They had games, for a rainy day, a fire pit and a large deck. It was great fishing off the dock at sunset and sunrise. The dock was also convenient for our pontoon boat. The kids loved their paddle boat. The owners were great communicators and they made us feel special. Great neighborhood. Not far from grocery/ convenient stores. Thompson lake is one of the cleanest in our state as well. We highly recommend.

Absolute Perfection

We rented this house to get the whole family together and it was absolutely perfect. The property was clean, with a large kitchen that easily fit everyone, plenty of bedrooms and everything we needed for the week. The location was private, but also had plenty of stores in the area to get what we needed. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and spent most of the time on the dock and in the water. The owner was very responsive and even left a small welcome basket! We used the paddle boat and sat by the fire at night. Everyone had an amazing time, and they all want to go back to the same house again, I can't say enough good things about the property!

Great place for a family vacation

We rented the house with our our daughter, husband, and their 4 month old baby. Two of our friends also came up and there was room for everyone comfortably! The house is right on the lake and when weather permitted we spent most of our time on the dock and swimming. There was plenty of room in the kitchen and on the deck to cook and share meals together. There was a separate dining area we used for a game room. There was really no reason to leave the property, but we did venture to the Casino for a little fun. I would highly recommend this for a family or a group who want to vacation together. It was all we could have hoped for.

Nice place a lot of work

Communication with the owners was good. However for the money we paid to stay and the cleaning fees and host fees that are associated with it I feel the beds should have been made. We have used VRBO dozens of times and never have I had to make the beds up. I feel if hundreds of dollars are allocated for cleaning fees I should be able to come right in and not have to do half the work. I place was very nice but that was a turn off.because at the end they also want you to strip the beds. So my question is what does the cleaning crew do other than disinfect and vacuum

Beautiful Home on the Perfect Lake

The home has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a huge kitchen with a large table and a separate dining area with another large table. Two more outdoor tables and chairs on the large shaded deck overlooking the lake. We had a great time and the neighbors were all very nice too. The lake was perfect for day trips and fishing and all the other water sports. Thank you.

Great family spot

All 6 adults agreed that this was perfect for our family. Rooms to spread out, well equipped, and of course -- the lake! Thompson Lake is huge, beautiful and clean. We spent most of our time in, on, or near the water. You can tell the house is special to the owners.
