Ground level apartment with one bedroom (1 king bed) and a living room that converts into a second bedroom at night (1 queen sofa-bed). One full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and free parking space for one car in a shared driveway. Strategically located between the two nicest beaches in the area (Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach) and a short drive to parks, train station and downtown for shopping and dinning. Fully furnished, utilities, Wi-Fi and laundry included. Ideal for up to 4 people. Nice neighborhood, 5-minute drive to Rockport, 20 minutes to Salem and 50 minutes to Boston. I live upstairs with my wife and there may be some ambient noise that travel through the walls (both ways).

Ocean Breeze was, indeed, a breeze. Easy check in and check out procedures. The rental was very clean and tidy with plenty of towels (including beach towels) and nice touches in every room. Appliances are well maintained and the kitchen area and provisions were just what we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and relaxing and a short walk to Good Harbor Beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect in every way!!!

We arrived a little earlybut our host had everything in tip top shape and welcomed us in!What a wonderful surprise..exceptional use of the space! Nicely decorated and oh so homey!! It is the ideal location for our little getaway with family....a short drive to Rockport (btw DON'T miss it!) And a short drive to the whale watching boat! That was fabulous!! YES we saw several whales! We were all in awe!! Once in a lifetime experience!! We all would highly recommend this home for your stay!! You will NOT be disappointed!

Easily Can Become A Favorite Place In Gloucester

Sergio & Luce are extremely attentive hosts, yet at the same time they respect their guests' privacy & quiet. They are always available to answer questions & concerns, a super nice welcome for us first-time guests in their home. Their recommendation of Jalapeños Restaurant on Main Street was definitely a highlight of the week. The apartment accommodations are impressive & nearly brand-new after recent renovations. Very well-appointed decor reflecting both the maritime traditions of Gloucester as well as the rich cultural heritage of the hosts' family ancestry. Wonderfully firm & roomy bed, a generous number of conveniently-located electrical outlets for everyone's electronics, luxurious bath & beach towels, very nice lighting throughout & a full range of household amenities. Having a washer/dryer was a real plus because we prefer not to return home after a road trip w/ dirty laundry. The place feels so well-built & so well-kept that we took our shoes off at the door each time we came indoors & walked around in our sox so as not to soil the cozy carpets. Private entry w/ an electronic pushbutton lock system made it very convenient not having to keep track of a standard metal key. Walk to Good Harbor Beach is easy-peasy from this home, 10-15 mins. downhill, if that. Parking is included & safe; however, it takes a few times getting familiar w/ the blind driveway exit to the street. We would love to stay here again when it is warmer so we can enjoy the backyard & firepit, too.

Perfect for an escape from family.

Functional and fully stocked. With many coffee pods and selection of pots and pans. King size bed was hard! I love firm beds but this was way too hard for my wife so we bought a mattress topper. That we left with a family member who lives close by.

Very enjoyable stay

Our stay was wonderful, the property was very clean and welcoming. We loved how close of a walk to Good Harbor beach and they provided a wagon and beach chairs which made it so much easier to carry everything to the beach. Thank you some for your thoughtfulness!

Amazing, clean, and comfortable

This beautiful home offers a peaceful backyard filled with baby red squirrels and chipmunks. Each room is tastefully decorated for comfort, complete with a desk for working guests. Just an 8-minute walk down a quiet road leads to the beach, ideal for watching a 5am sunrise. About half a mile up the road, you’ll find The Common Crow, a lovely organic market perfect for picking up breakfast and lunch groceries. I would stay here again!

Lovely Home in Wooded Area of Cape Ann

The basement apartment is fully stocked with all the implements that one needs to prepare own meals-no food items, save coffee, which is pretty much the standard that I have found. The TV system has many interesting channels. WiFi was basically reliable-only cut out once. Bedroom, bath and laundry facilities are perfect. Toiletries are provided. Clean, well-lit and spacious rooms!

Enjoyable stay

We were visiting the Gloucester area for a few days and found this enjoyable house. The owner lives upstairs and the whole downstairs is yours. All the rooms had pleasant decor and nice features. There is a full size washer and dryer which came in useful during our multi-week trip. The host, Sergio, was quick to reply with the few questions I had.

Relaxing refuge

Sergio has created a comfortable, thoughtfully designed and tasteful location for those staying in Gloucester. Short walk to beach and a quick drive to downtown area. We loved our stay!

Excellent Accommodation

We were met on arrival by our hosts. They answered all our questions and ensured we were settled in and comfortable. They even moved their vehicles to allow more room in the parking area for my wife who has balance and stability issues. Would return anytime.

Clean, cute, and comfortable! Easy walk to Good Harbor beach, such a better experience than driving and battling for a parking space! Loved our excursions to downtown Gloucester and Rockport for dining and shopping. Five stars, highly recommend!

Comfortable stay for a weekend getaway. Convenient location for going to town or Rockport. Bed was comfortable, shower a bit small. Bright for a basement apartment. Snacks and beverages were a nice touch!
