Home Away From Home in a Rural Setting

This house has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the country. It's located in a rural area on an 80 acre farm. It has three bedrooms with two bathrooms. One bedroom is downstairs and two are upstairs.

The downstairs room has a queen-sized bed, as does one upstairs bedroom. The second has two twin beds. Each bedroom has double closets. There is a desk in the living room to use for remote work and a large screen smart TV.

The kitchen has been recently renovated, so you'll find all your cooking tools and necessities there. There is a large eat-in area with a table for six (8 can be accommodated with additional leaf), and a side counter with a breakfast bar and stools. Kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, complete dishes and utensils.

Pets will undergo a screening process for approval before renting this property so please call us if you'd like to inquire about this option!

The house is located 7.5 miles from a small town with stores, restaurants, and more. The trail behind the house leads to 30 acres of woods for outdoor enjoyment.

We were welcomed with a gift basket, fresh baked goodies, farm fresh eggs. and a nice note!The owners communication was top notch! The home was clean and stocked with all the essential amenities, plus a few extras, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had a wonderful time!

Graduation Open House

Gorgeous home, with plenty of room for our crew. Jean left homemade goodies for us to snack on, and we got the chance to chat with her our second day there. She was so nice, and the property was beautiful, including a nice path to walk back to the woods and pond.We had a very nice stay.

Peaceful Getaway

Really nice place, spacious and plenty of accommodations. Some minor areas where it needs some good cleaning but overall nice. Downstairs bed not very comfy but so much land to explore and the kitchen had about everything you need. Great place, highly recommend

Wonderful

Wonderful stay for a friend group meet up. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the location. Very well appointed with everything we needed! The host's special touch of baked goods and snacks was extra nice!

Nice and quiet and VERY clean

A cute farmhouse with very clean accommodations. We received a sweet letter and goodie basket from our hosts. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic table and visiting each other listening to the breeze in the trees. The rooms and closets had plenty of space. This house was a nice home away from home!

Farmhouse in Northwest Ohio

We loved our stay at the farmhouse. The home exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the thoughtful hospitality of the host. We felt at home with comfy beds, pots/pans in like new condition, and plenty of extra towels and blankets. We found everything that we needed within the farmhouse. The host truly thought of their guests’ needs and comfort when preparing the home as a rental property.

An amazing place to stay

Van's property was a wonderful place to stay for our visit to Bryan! The farmhouse is well equipped and beautifully appointed with everything anyone would need. Can was very thoughtful in welcoming us with fresh eggs and apple muffins and was very attentive during our brief stay. We will definitely stay here again if/when we come back to the area. Thank you!

Christmas stay

We are familiar with the area and chose a VRBO to be close to family for our Christmas celebration. The hosts were beyond welcoming, and hospitable. They made check in/out flexible, left us some uoneade goodies and local/fresh eggs, allowed us to have family over for a roomier way to share presents, and even put up a beautiful Christmas tree 🎄 up for our stay. The rental was perfect for our needs, and we will definitely be coming back for future visits.

5 night stay

Great place to stay with a larger group! We only had four in our group but the house could have easily accommodated more! The hosts were EXCELLENT and very responsive and accommodating for anything we had questions about or needed. Nice touch of farm fresh eggs, baked goods and bottled water were left for us upon arrival! Check-in was super easy, WiFi and modern TV were great. Entire house is very spacious! Great place for families to hangout together. The outdoor space is a great large area and the walk down to the pond is very peaceful. Thank you to the hosts for such a great place!

Family visit

Came with family to visit other family. Thought we would be uncomfortable without AC. But evenings at the house were brezzy and cool. Highway traffic was a bit noisy as we are not used to it. We enjoied the fresh eggs and baked goods. Nostalgic farm house was nice.

A wonderful country home

We loved our stay at this home! We were so pleased to enjoy a five-star experience to match previous reviewers’ experiences. It was such a comfort to have a whole spacious home to ourselves while visiting family and the hosts kindly brought over toys, a high chair, and bath toys for our toddler which really was above and beyond and made our stay that much more comfortable. The baked goods and fresh eggs were a marvelous touch and we enjoyed the convenience of being able to get into the town of Bryan so easily. While we were here in the summer heat, the fans upstairs were more than adequate to keep us comfortable at night. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

Rural setting house

Everything was very clean. The house is a house setting all by itself. No neighbors that are close. Very safe. Nice country house. A lot of room to move around. The dryer was very squeeky and was not able to use. Started to smell of rubber.

Peaceful getaway

This was a great place for my family and I to stay while visiting family. Van was very accommodating and communicated very well. A note was left on the counter with snacks and treats as well as a dozen farm fresh eggs(yummy). This is a cozy old farm home, and it made feel right at home. It was great for my kids to experience what kind of home I actually grew up in. Van also left some fishing gear for us so the kids could go fishing in the pond on the property. Sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous. Would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area. Will be back in the future.

Family Reunion Accomodations

My husband and I hosted a family reunion and needed extra space for guests. This home fit our needs perfectly. It was a short 8 min drive from our house so our family could easily come and go. The home was clean, had plenty of towels & linens, good sized bedrooms and plenty of living room and kitchen space for 6 people to gather. Because of the nature of the visit, our family did not put much of the kitchen to use or take advantage of the beautiful outdoor surroundings but it appeared as if anyone using this home to it's fullest would be happy with the amenities. My family also appreciated the tasty treats left by the host. We hope to continue our family reunion tradition and I would gladly reserve this home again for overflow accommodations.

Beautiful property, wonderful stay

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. It was absolutely gorgeous and we watched the sunset from the front yard every evening. The house was airy and bright with all the windows and we kept them open all day even though it was in the 80s and the house stayed so cool due to the trees all around the house. We did close them at night because it was in the 50s and 40s and the house remained comfortable and cool all night. The owners were very nice and thoughtful. When we mentioned we were traveling with young children (4 and 1 years old) the owners offered to bring over a highchair if we needed and there were toys set up when we arrived! So incredibly thoughtful. It truly felt they cared about our comfort and that we felt at home rather than just another renter. The area is so nice to drive through and the owners gave us some cool places to take the kids which was a life saver! The Montpellier pool, playground, and splash pad was only 10-15 away. Bryan park (Imagination Station) was about the same distance with an awesome wooden castle playground and a small splash pad that my kids may have enjoyed more than the Montpellier one. We also were only an hour from the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo! It's a smaller zoo but perfect for children. Loads to see and is easy to get all the way through it and still get back at a reasonable time.
