The Space:
Our Private Mountain Cabin located in the Rocky Mountains at an impressive 8,700 feet elevation offers stunning views of Evergreen and Aspen trees, mountain peaks, and the occasional visit from local wildlife.

Inside, the cabin offers a cozy wood-burning stove, elevated ceilings, and large A-frame windows that fill the space with natural light during the day and offer breathtaking views of the night sky.

Step outside onto the spacious deck, complete with comfortable seating, an inviting egg chair, and a BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Gather around the fire pit under the starry skies for marshmallow roasting and stories by the fire.

For entertainment, there's a 55' Smart TV with complimentary Netflix and YouTube Premium subscriptions. Stay connected with fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. We've stocked the cabin with a variety of board games for all ages, ensuring endless fun and laughter.

In the well-equipped kitchen, you'll find two ovens, a dishwasher, coffee machines (both drip and capsule), a microwave, and a full set of cookware. We provide a selection of coffee, tea, and coffee capsules to start your day right.

Traveling with little ones? We offer a convenient Pack-n-play and a secluded kids' playroom, perfect for their adventures.

As night falls, take advantage of the minimal light pollution for perfect stargazing with our telescope. You'll be treated to the wonders of the night sky.

Accessible via a county-plowed and maintained road, our cabin provides lots of uncovered parking for your convenience.

While Mountain Lodge feels just the right amount of secluded, you’re still only:
• 25 minutes away from Golden and Boulder,

Guest Access:
Check-in is after 3pm. You will receive an individual smart lock code the day before your arrival and have the entire place just to yourself! There are lots of uncovered parking spaces in our driveway.

For guests staying from November to April please note that 4WD/AWD vehicle is REQUIRED in winter driving conditions. Roads are all county-plowed and maintained but winter conditions may exist at any time between September-May.

The Neighborhood:
Spectacular outdoors offer Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Roosevelt National Forest, Indian Peaks Wilderness, Rocky Mountain National Park, the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail, and the Peak to Peak Scenic and Historic Byway.

Here you will find everything you like about mountains: tons of hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, rock climbing, or kayaking. There is lots of wildlife in the canyon as well, so make sure to look around for deer, foxes, and moose!

If a laid-back vacation is what you are looking for, you can try your luck gambling at Black Hawk and Central City casinos or take a breathtaking narrow gauge train ride with Georgetown Loop Railroad. Visit the historical town of Nederland for the unique rich history in mining and geology, as well as live music, breweries, and coffee shops.

Getting Around:
There are lots of uncovered parking spaces in our driveway that may fit up to 5 cars.

Other Things to Note:
• We have a no pet policy. Thank you for understanding.

• Be aware that this is the mountains and we do have wild animals. Do not feed the animals. Do not approach or try to interact with wild animals.

• The nearest grocery store is about 25 mins away. We suggest purchasing groceries before coming to the house. There is a market at the gas station 10 minutes from the Cabin with only limited essentials. A liquor store and a few coffee shops are also 3-7 minutes away.

• The house is located at 8,773 ft elevation. Please plan ahead and be prepared for the potential Altitude Sickness and rapid weather changes during your visit.
