This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Liberty University is just 4 miles away. Lynchburg University and Lynchburg General Hospital are less than 10 minutes away. Home is also close to downtown and several excellent restaurants. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped for guests to enjoy. All the charm of its history and all the updates of modern convenience make this place an excellent choice for your stay.

Please note: This home is just off Bus 29 and is in the outskirts of downtown Lynchburg. Downtown Lynchburg is home to much history and industry. Much of the area is in the process of being revitalized. Many homes are recently updated, in the process of being updated, or in need of being updated. As this property is in Lynchburg city, parking is on street (free). The speed limit on the street is 25 mph, however, we cannot control those who do not obey the speed limit. We have provided a small space off street, however, it is a bit steep, and not all guests feel comfortable using it.

This is a newly remodeled home with personalized touches. The beds were very comfortable. The coffee and creamer, along with snacks were very appreciated because we arrived so late. Jennifer was very resonsive and a hreat host. The only thing that kept it from getting 5 stars was that the location was pretty rough.

Quick stay

Lovely home, easy access to everything. Iappreciated knowing this home is in an up and coming neighborhood. It is rough, but never felt unsafe. We'd stay again.

Very nice

We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and comfortable. Took a hot minute to figure out the AC. :-). Definitely would stay here again.

Convenient Location

This was the perfect place for a quick long weekend in Lynchburg! The house was clean and newly renovated—great kitchen and living space and cozy backyard (unfortunately it was a rainy and windy weekend)! Appreciated the location for easy access to the highway for running errands and visiting friends.

Perfect for our weekend trip

This property was very clean and ready for us upon arrival. Basic necessities were provided. The surrounding neighborhood is not well taken care of, but we had no issues while staying.

Comfortable and cozy

This property was a great find in downtown Lynchburg. The house was very clean with thoughtful touches to increase the comfort of staying there. The bedrooms were a great size for us, and while we didn't use the kitchen beyond popcorn and coffee, the full size oven/range and open kitchen would have made it very comfortable.

Weekend in Lynchburg

The property matches the listing. Nicely furnished, clean with plenty of space. Had all the things we needed. The bathroom is small and be careful not to hit you ankles on the shower frame. The only thing that was inconvenient was the heating system. If you visit during the cold months take your slippers and warm fuzzies.

Nice home

As described, it doesn’t seem like the best area, but the house is super well maintained and we felt safe with outside security cameras and doors locked. The one set of neighbors was friendly and we had everything we needed. Thank you for letting us use your home.

Updated with old charm

So cute and updated! Very comfortable and clean. Plenty of kitchen and bath essentials plus some nice treats. A minor issue with air conditioner but owner was quick to respond and was sweet and accommodating! Even though a bit rougher neighborhood, felt safe and next door neighbor was so nice! Would stay again.

Cozy getaway

We enjoyed our time at the Graceful Getaway! The home was nicely renovated, bright, and had a pleasant feel to it. We had everything we needed there to make our stay comfortable. The location was within a short drive of downtown and the highway, so we were quickly able to drive around town from there. Jennifer responded promptly to questions we had related to our stay. The driveway was a little steep, as noted, so we opted for parking on the street, which ended up working fine for us.

Graceful Getaway is the Perfect Description!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Lynchburg! The home was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay and more. It felt like being at a Bed and Breakfast ❤️ so many details included - coffee, tea, granola bars, cooking spray, extra towels & washcloths, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc. It really felt like a home away from home! Loved the backyard with the fire-pit too. The house was in a bit of a rougher part of town, but neighbors on the street were very friendly. The location is close to downtown with lots of great restaurants and only 10 mins from Liberty University. If we go back to Lynchburg we would love to stay again!

Not my favorite

The house was clean, not in a good neighborhood. We would not stay here again. The stairs are very steep, the top of the landing is on a slant. Bathroom very small! The bed was comfortable. Very load road outside and loud machinery across the street.

Pleasant and Perfect for us!

We had a great stay here visiting Liberty University for a long weekend. My husband and I stayed with our daughter. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the snacks and coffee/tea set out for us and the comfy king size bed. We also liked the living area for watching tv/ reading. The bathroom is small but sufficient. The offstreet parking spot is small and steep as described - we were able to get our jeep in, but usually parked on the street just fine. The host also left great recommendations for restaurants in the area which was very helpful. It was the little touches of thoughtfulness that made this stay pleasant and perfect for us.

UBER clean!!! Adorable place.

This owner clearly loves her place and added nice, personal touches all over the house, such as; coffee, popcorn, granola bars, makeup towels, cute decor, yard lights, and comfy furniture. The king bed was very comfortable and seemed to be a quality mattress. We struggled with the HVAC a little, but when i emailed Jennifer, she got back quickly and made sure we got the help we needed. This house was a nice location with easy hwy access. The inky con was that the street was a little noisy and many people speed on the street, if that bothers you, but using a sound machine made it fine. Parking spot in driveway way perfect to avoid street parking.

Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am excited to be your host! I am a graduate of Liberty University and have been in education for the past 10 years. My youngest daughter is heading to Liberty University and I wanted to invest in the area to help meet a need among other parents, families and students traveling to Lynchburg and hopefully expand my market as time passes. My goal as a host is to create a place that I would want to stay in as a guest and exceed the expectations of all my guests.

I chose this property to help fill a need in the area for the college families, traveling nurses and business executives. I love that it is close to all the history of downtown, yet close to all the colleges, hospitals and shopping that Lynchburg has to offer!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I highly recommend visiting some of the many amazing dining options in the downtown area! We have yet to find one that we do not enjoy! A list is available for you during your stay.
