The space
This is a victorian style home with all the charm of a Bostonian home. Hardwood floors throughout. Each bedroom is comfortable and spacious enough for 2. The bathroom still has the original claw foot tub that we recently refinished. there is a large stand in shower with flexible shower head. The kitchen is newly renovated with beautiful white shaker cabinets. washer and dryer is free and in the unit,
The home is not perfect , but has a lovely design and is great for solo travelers, girls getaway, family trips or anyone who wants to enjoy this beautiful city.

Hot week in Boston

Made our way from Tx to Boston to beat the heat…unfortunately we brought a record breaking heat wave with us. Nice space. As advertised, clean and spacious. Really happy the a/c was able to keep up with the weather. Short walk to restaurants, bars, and the T station made this an affordable and convenient spot to explore Boston.

Great place to stay.

The apartment was beautiful and super clean. My bed was comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The parking is a little nerve-racking but it all worked out. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who’s looking to stay in the Boston area.

Family visit

Visiting our daughter who is in grad school. Stayed close by to her and used Savin hill T for all our transport needs to explore Boston. Had everything we needed on a quiet street!

Great place!

Clean, well organized and location in Boston was great. I would stay here again. For future stays, I would definitely have all guests and myself pile into as few cars as possible, just for parking convenience.

The apartment is an adorable 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom in a quiet neighborhood. We were there to catch the Red Sox, and visit Boston Harbor, the Aquarium, Quincy Market, and more.

Clean and comfortable

We felt very comfortable in this home. The space worked well for 4 adults and the kitchen was well equipped. The parking was tight, but that is typical of the area. Would book again on a return trip.

Super Clean, Super Cozy Place to Stay

The property was easy to find. The place was actually bigger than we were expecting. Rooms were comfy. Don't sweat the parking. The street it's on will probably be packed but there is plenty of close by spots. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Weekend stay in Boston

We had three couples share this property for a fun weekend in Boston. We were going to a show in the theatre district, restaurants in the South End and Southie. A great location for exploring that side of town. The space is wonderful. Parking in the area was easier than expected on a weekend. There’s only one bathroom, though it was rarely an issue for our group. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Not "centrally located" ...

Definitely not walkable and very difficult parking. We ended up not staying because of the difficulties of all the above and would not recommend.

Served it’s purpose

The house was clean and it served its purpose as a place to sleep for the night. The street parking is what you expect.. Two things that turned me off.. we were going to a concert at Fenway. The listing said it was 7 minutes away. We made the trip 3 times and it was 30 minutes away. They ask you to take the garbage out but all of the cans were completely full so I had to stuff it in there, it was pretty gross.

Dirty and unprepared.

When we arrived at our stay, the premise was dirty with hair everywhere and had not been cleaned. Our host was difficult to get a hold of, but when we finally did, the trip was canceled and we were reimbursed.

Superb Location for Boston and the local area

The home is clean, quiet, and spacious. Three friends stayed here, and we each had our own bedroom. The beds were comfortable, and the window units kept us cool; we all slept well. The large bathroom was fab and worked well for us; there was a nice large shower, and two ladies used the tub; there were plenty of towels! The kitchen was stocked with coffee pods, tea bags, and seasonings. The VRBO family was helpful with accommodations upon our arrival. This home could easily be a repeat stay if in the area again. The location is superb, with *McKenna’s, *The Daily, and *Savin Hill being a short walk from this VRBO. You have *McKenna’s for breakfast or a late lunch with fresh and flavorful meals! We ordered and split family style. Delicious! The staff is amiable, helpful, on top of service, and a great aspect of our trip. Across the street is *The Daily, a grocery store with excellent options from fresh produce to a deli/meal option. We stopped here each day heading home from our outings. *Savin Hill subway (T) stop is a minute from McKenna’s. This subway location is the redline and will take you into Boston; Park St was our main stop and transfer hub. A Charlie Pass is a subway pass you can purchase at the subway entrance. Unexpected Boston highlights were the Isabella Gardener Museum, Boston Library, and Yvonne’s for a fun (pricey) dinner experience.
