Welcome to "The White House Rushford"
Enjoy the deck off the living room with beautiful view of the lake. 20'x40' covered carport with seating , a Webber gas grill, and a beverage vending machine for your personal use. Perfect for playing cards and entertaining. Firepit overlooks your private dock and waterfront. Perfect for swimming. Living room has a Stickley sofa with a pull out memory foam mattress. House has a new wood stove. All new flooring, fixtures, and appliances. Unit comes stocked with all the kitchen items you will need to have a relaxing and enjoyable visit. TV and WIFI. Waterfront and dock is 150' from the house. Dock has deep water and mooring whips are installed for safe and secure boat docking. Local Owner. Bed Linens provided for all beds. Campfire wood provided!

What a beautiful and peaceful home. Everything was so well maintained and there was an unlimited amount of places to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. The owners were so helpful and took great care of us. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be bringing my family back again next summer!

What a cute and well maintained lake cottage! Stayed for four nights with four humans and one dog. All enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for going out of your way to supply some thoughtful extras for our stay that made us feel at home and able to truly enjoy the beauty of the lake!

Beautiful Scenery at the Lake

Rushford Lake is a beautiful spot with lots of activity on the water. It was a great place to stay for the weekend, and we hope to come back sometime for a return visit!

Relaxing

Spend the weekend here. Great views, relax8ng and a great place to fish. Wherr can you have freash rainbow trout over an open fire for lunch, at the Whitehouse! Thanks Don for sharing this little treasure with our family.

Wonderful!

My daughter is attending Houghton in the fall and we were looking for a place to stay when we visit. Well we found one! The lake house was fantastic! Clean, cozy, great views of the lake and wonderful swimming. Don was a great host and the neighbors were very friendly. My family really needed a vacation and this place provided us with that and much more. Can't wait to return!

Spectacular View!

We really enjoyed our stay on Rushford Lake. What a lovely, clean and cozy cottage! We had everything we needed, including fire wood for the campfire and fireplace. We hope to come back again soon!

Gorgeous view! Beautiful stay!

Our family absolutely loved our stay! We wish we could have stayed longer. The house is very cozy and very well equipped. Sleeping is comfortable and peaceful. We loved being lakefront with the ample outdoor space for eating, playing and enjoying the view. Check-in and out was a breeze and Don and Cathy are the best! We will be back!

First family trip to Rushford

We had a great stay at The White House. All the details were thought of by our hosts. We had great communication before and during our trip. The house has water access and a great sunset view. We hope to stay again in the future.

On Vaca!

We truly had a time to chill out and enjoy the lovely cabin and the lake! We brought our Kayaks and enjoyed the lake by swimming and kayaking and sitting on the dock enjoying the beautiful weather! The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We hope to return!!!

We loved our stay at the White House! The house had plenty of cooking/ kitchen equipment, I packed way more than I needed too. Bring your food and drinks and you are all set. It was perfect for relaxing and entertaining guests. We can’t wait to go back!

Relaxing, peaceful time at the lake

Great location, view of the lake & sunsets. Firepit was great and yard well kept. Cottage was comfortable with everything you need. I didn't have to bring all the stuff I did bring. Will have to do it again.

Visit to my home town area.

Loved this clean property. Kitchen had everything you might need with microwave, toaster oven, keurig coffee machine and a drip coffee machine. A gas grill with most kitchen items available. The car port was great to be out of the sun or rain. Don the host very accommodating. Would rent this place again.

The Whitehouse

The whitehouse was a great cottage to enjoy Rushford Lake, great view and swimming! All amenties included just bring food! The only thing I would mention for those that have trouble walking is there is a large hill that you need to walk down/and walk up to get to the lake. You can sit on top of the hill to watch those that swim ect

Great stay

We loved staying at the White house on Rushford Lake and can't wait to visit again next summer! The house was impeccably clean and had everything we could possibly need to make our stay so relaxing and fun. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept so well. The carport was so nice, especially when it rained or we wanted to get out of the sun. And being right on the lake was incredible. The private dock with a ladder made it so easy getting in and out of the water. We brought our kayaks, paddle boards and fishing gear and spent so much time enjoying the lake. To sum up our stay at the White house, our 8 year-old grandson said, "I just had the 3 best days of my life."
