Rustic Cabin w/pond. Secluded in the woods with walk in access.
This is a rustic getaway cabin that is off the grid! Parking available at the main farm. The cabin is located about 1/2 mile off the road and sits on a beautiful pond. Hiking trails, horseback riding and more! Bring your dogs and your horses. You will feel like you are staying miles away in the mountains of the western United States. We do have a generator for lights, wood burning stove for heat, and grills and a firepit for cooking. Bring your own drinking water, and we will provide water for bathing and washing dishes. The cabin has a covered corral for the horses. We will deliver all your belongings to the cabin and you can hike or ride in on your horse.
As shown in the room details, please note that the bathroom is a very nice cedar outhouse and the shower is an outside camp shower. There is water in the cabin for dishes and hand washing.
BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS
The cabin base rate is $200/night. Kids under 15 stay free. Each additional adult (over 2) is an additional $100/night. The cabin has 3 Full beds and 2 single bunks for kids. Dogs are welcomed but must be obedient or on leash, there is no extra charge.
We have the booking set to 24 hour approval so that we can make sure to serve you to the best of our abilities. We also encourage you to reach out if you have a date in mind that is not available, as sometimes we do have dates available that are blocked out. We would love to share this enchanting wilderness cabin with you and will do everything in our power to make our schedules match your needs.
Horses are welcome and encouraged for your stay. Kyhlwood Training will charge $25/night per horse, and payment will be due upon arrival. Payment types are cash, venmo, and paypal. This includes the use of all the riding trails, jumps, and trail challenge obstacles. Hay and grain are not provided, water will be provided at the cabin corral. Parking is available at the main farm for vehicles and trailers, we do NOT allow vehicles to be driven to the cabin. We will deliver your belongings upon your arrival, and you can ride or hike to the cabin.

Kyhlwood Cabins is part of our Kyhlwood Farms. Jenna is a fulltime horse trainer and Scott is a dog trainer. We love the outdoors and wanted to give others the opportunity to enjoy what we do everyday.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
This property is a very unique piece with 240 acres of grass fields and timber. We have miles of trails for horseback riding and hiking along with a 1.4 acre pond. This cabin was built by Scott with nearly all the wood being sawn through the saw mill located on the property. We spend time in the spring collecting maple sap for syrup, then morel mushrooms followed by the ripening of wild raspberries. We do close the cabin down during the late fall and early winter deer hunting seasons, but make it available the rest of the year. Please feel free to reach out if it appears to be booked when you look, we might have forgot to open up the occupancy.
