Stunning Views

The house was as advertised. The views were spectacular of the surfers, dolphins and the sunsets. Easy walking to resturantants and town.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The home is as lovely as the photo’s depict. The view from the patio area is amazing - we saw dolphins swimming just off shore several of the mornings during our stay. We really enjoyed being able to park in the garage, and have access to the house through the garage. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and a beach bag for heading to the beach. We loved the beach trail which is literally steps from the home, and walked this trail most days during our stay. The pier can be accessed from the beach trail - just over a half mile walk, and the restaurant there had amazing breakfasts, and the best Halibut! The only hiccup we had was a problem with the fridge not cooling well, but the property manager was great to try to get this resolved. The owner even allowed us to used their personal fridge in the garage while they tried to fix the fridge. We would definitely recommend this home, and would stay here again.

Wonderful home

Peaceful and Relaxing. We had a great vacation in perhaps the nicest home on the beach. Mom called it a complete palace. Despite the train which runs along the beach, the windows and doors are largely soundproof. We left the windows open at night to listen to the waves put us to sleep. The kids all slept through the night

Best Beach House EVER!

We were stunned by the beautiful views of the sea from the dining room, kitchen, living room and master bedroom! The house is Just lovely throughout, and thoughtfully supplied with everything you could possibly want. The kitchen is very well equipped which made meal prep a breeze! We all even enjoyed washing dishes because the ocean view from the sink was so incredible! From the house and deck we watched schools of fish travel along the surf with dolphins, sea lions, diving pelicans and many other sea birds. The beach is clean, long and lovely to walk along. Our two teenaged grandchildren loved body surfing, even in December! The owners responded immediately when we reported a minor issue. This house has many amenities that are rarely found in other comparable rental properties.

Ocean Retreat

Our family of four-which included our two girls in college spent a very relaxing and fun week in this home. The location is very convenient for walking to town and the house was very comfortably furnished. The owners Beth and Paul were the perfect hosts and we look forward to another vacation in this wonderful beach front property!

Amazing location and view

Well designed liaving aqnd bedroom areas; maximized the amazing ocean views and the ability to hear the roar of the ocean. Lots of towels, sheets, etc. - easy to use appliances. Nice touch with the motorized awnings. The putdoor (and indoor) dining tables easily sat all 6 of us and could have comformtably accommodated a few more. As withh all coean based facilities, there is the need for constant upkeep. On the whole, this home is doing quite well.

Absolutely sublime.

The house is amazing, location couldn't be better. Beth was so easy to communicate with. I cook for the love of cooking and for my work and the kitchen was very well organized, incredibly well supplied, and to cook overlooking the ocean - doesn't get better than that! As others have said, the trains aren't an issue at all. Very well insulated windows, and there's a gorgeous charm of seeing the trains as you look out onto the ocean. We fished, surfed, swam, walked, boogie boarded and saw dolphins, all right in front of the house - I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Beth!

Beautiful San Clemente

We loved the house! The pictures were right on. Very comfortable. Stocked with everything you could possibley need. Sat on the back deck every morning and evening. The beach was a short walk away. We brought two carts we bought at costco loaded the beach stuff in one and grandbabies in the other. The train noise was a little bit overwhelming first night but soon forgot it was there. Lovely house I will be back! Mahalo

Amazing Place

As advertised. Great communication by the owner and check in process was easy. Everything you need is here with the hot tub, awnings, large master bed and bathroom, surround sound systems, quality TV's, etc. Everything is top of the line. Will stay here again.

Beach, waves, 180 degree ocean views, relaxation awaits!

The home is beautiful and very inviting - surrounding areas are wonderful. If you love the ocean and beach the view is 2nd to none. Sunsets amazing. Restaurants are almost all good in the area. So easy to go to San Diego, LA, or the endless beaches to the North or South. If you need to relax and want to sit on a wonderful beach without the crowds come here!

Beautiful home steps from the beach

This is a beautiful home on a quiet street with crashing waves serving as continuous, lovely background noise. The property is exactly as depicted in the photos and description (better, actually) and the booking process was quick and efficient thanks to the owner's prompt response to my inquiry. Any information we needed about our stay was provided prior to our check-in date, and everything was just as expected when we arrived. The house is clean and airy with a large kitchen area that is stocked with any and all cooking tools one would need for any occasion. It’s also just a quick drive to restaurants in town or neighboring Dana Point. I should stress that the view and sound of the ocean from the entire back side of the house is just astounding, so staying/ordering in, at this house in particular, may be the better option. The beds are comfy and bathrooms are nice, especially the large master bath, with open living areas great for relaxing. I really couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay, and despite it being just my husband and me, I will check the availability of this property first when I book our next visit a few months from now.

Best views in town

This home’s combination of amenities and proximity to the beach can’t be beat. From the long deck that fronts the house you have views up and down the coast for miles. And from inside the home, large windows that run along the length of the house offer fantastic white-water views of the waves rolling into shore. There are few homes in San Clemente as close to the beach as this one. There’s nothing between you and the sand except for some railroad tracks that carry the occasional commuter train, which actually adds to the charm of the setting. And it’s only a 15-minute walk along the sand to the pier area, which is home to a couple of good restaurants. The house itself is extremely well kept and the gourmet kitchen has every conceivable cooking item you could need. The house is also loaded with multiple TVs and a great sound system, and the owners provide all the umbrellas, chairs, towels and boogie boards a family needs to enjoy the beach. We found the owners pleasant to deal with and quick to respond to our needs. A minor problem that cropped up on our first night was dealt with immediately. We have stayed in many San Clemente homes during vacations there over the past 35 years and none of them come close to this one.

Beautiful Ocean VIew

This property was as beautiful as the pictures posted on VRBO. The ocean view from the deck was awesome, the sunsets amazing, and access to the beach was very convenient. The San Clemente Pier was in walking distance on a nice path. It was close to Disneyland which the grandkids so enjoyed and they also loved the trains that went by every day. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need. The owners were always available if we needed anything or had any questions. It was a wonderful week and we hated to leave. We would absolutely come back!!!

Don't rent this home unless you expect only "The Best" and will be able to handle getting only "The very Best". This home is immaculately clean, and the furniture is 1st class, and that's just the beginning. Now comes the Best part" This home has from almost every room the most amazing view of the Pacific ocean I have ever seen. Please don't take all the good weeks as we fully intend to return for a number of weeks this year...........

Perfect in every way

We were lucky enough to spend a month in this paradise. Our expectations were high and they were exceeded. The beachfront location not only provides the soothing backdrop of rolling waves but also allows for regular sightings of dolphins, seals and gray whales right from the deck. The views from this home are breathtaking at all times of the day. The beach trail which is right in front of the house is great for running, cycling and walking. San Clemente is ideally situated for exploring all around Southern California. The home itself has everything - a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, a gorgeous fireplace, motorized awnings, a spotless hot tub, luxurious beach towels - and a smart floor plan that provides space and privacy. Beth is thorough, professional and responsive. Our experience really was perfect in every way.

Perfect place to relax

We had such a wonderful time at this lovely home! We came with our adult children for a family wedding and Beth could not have been more accommodating to our needs. We hosted a small rehearsal luncheon here, and it was a perfect setting. The kitchen was such a pleasure to cook in, and the whole house with it's magnificent views was absolutely serene. Just what we needed with a hectic wedding schedule! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

The best view in San Clemente

My family and I had the most enjoyable time this August at this wonderful home. It was so well equipped which made our stay so comfortable. The home is so lovely and the views are so fabulous.Eating outside on the patio while looking out at the ocean and watching the dolphins was the BEST!! This home has everything you could possibly need, from books to beach chairs and beach towels, and plenty of them. The weather was amazing, so that really was a plus. Also I might add the beds were so comfortable and that means a lot. can't wait to return.
