Located between the charming shoreline towns of Cedarville and Hessel, this inviting cottage offers stunning waterfront views, modern comforts, and a cozy rustic atmosphere.
Nestled along Snows Channel, Cedar Cottage overlooks the sparkling waters toward Marquette Island, the largest of the 36 islands in the Les Cheneaux chain. The island acts as a natural barrier, protecting our mainland property from the open waters of Lake Huron, creating calm, warm waters perfect for kayaking, fishing, and boating in the scenic bays and coves.

The warm, rustic charm of Cedar Cottage is enhanced by pine wood-paneled walls and ceilings, creating a classic Up North ambiance. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for easy meal preparation, featuring a full-size electric range, refrigerator, and dining table for casual meals.
For larger gatherings, the open dining and living area includes a spacious dining table—perfect for sharing meals with family and friends. The comfortable living room is designed for relaxation, offering cozy furnishings and a large picture window overlooking the waterfront.
A sunny side deck, furnished with a picnic table and porch chairs, provides the perfect spot for outdoor dining and relaxation while overlooking the sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and swing set—allowing parents to unwind while keeping an eye on the kids at play.

Main Level: One bedroom with a queen-size bed, second bedroom with a twin-size bed
Upper Level: One bedroom with a full-size bed, second bedroom with two full-size beds and a twin-size bed

The spacious yard is designed for endless outdoor activities, featuring volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a swing set and a sandy swimming area.
Guests can breathe in the fresh lake air from the deck, gather around the community firepit for evening campfires, or stroll down to the dock for unbeatable sunset views over the water.
The docks are also perfect for fishing, tying up your boat, or simply soaking in the natural beauty of Snows Channel.

Four Bedrooms: Sleeps 10. Main level: one bedroom with a queen-size bed, one bedroom with a twin-size bed. Upper level: one bedroom with a full-size bed, one bedroom with two full-size beds and a twin. Bed linens and pillows are furnished. Renters are asked to provide their own bath and kitchen linens.
Kitchen, Dining & Living Room: The kitchen is fully equipped with electric range and refrigerator. There is a table with chairs in the kitchen area, as well as a large dining table with chairs in the open living room.
One Bathroom: The bathroom has a fiberglass, combination tub and shower, toilet & sink.
Side Deck: A sunny side deck, furnished with a picnic table and porch chairs, is located at the entrance to the kitchen, convenient for outdoor meals.
Picnic Table and Charcoal Grill: A family size picnic table and kettle style grill are provided.
Sandy Swimming Beach: Just steps away from the cabin, the sandy beach and beach dock offer the ideal spot for sunbathing, swimming, or building sandcastles with the family. Kids and adults enjoy playing on the floating water mat provided in the swimming area.
Community Firepit: Nestled on the beach, the community campfire area provides the perfect atmosphere where guests can unwind, share stories, and enjoy the warmth of the fire under the stars.
Spacious Yard, Sand Beach Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Horseshoes, Swing Set: All cabin renters at LCL have access to 250 feet of waterfront, beach, docks, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, swing set, and a spacious, well-maintained lawn area suitable for croquet, bocce ball, cornhole, or most any other yard game.
Docks & Boat Slip Rentals: LCL’s location on the Snows Channel is the ideal spot for boating & fishing enthusiasts. The updated docks (built in 2020 & 2024) can accommodate most any size boat as well as provide the perfect spot for catching some rays, relaxing & enjoying the view, fishing for a variety of fish or watching the evening sunset.
Fishing Boat Rentals/Kayaks: Outboard fishing boats are available to rent and LCL offers two complimentary, one-person kayaks for guests to use on a first come, first served basis.
Dog Friendly: Your dog is welcome to accompany you on your vacation adventures. The charge for a dog is $20 per night/$100 per week with a limit of 2 dogs per cabin. You will be asked to sign a dog agreement & waiver form. Upon request, this form can be sent prior to your stay, for your review.
Internet Access: WiFi is available in all cabins, though service may occasionally be inconsistent.
On-Site Property Managers: Mark and Esther Engle reside on the premises and are available to provide assistance at most times during the day and night.
