The Blue Spruce Bungalow is a stylish renovation of an historic Evergreen cabin. It is secluded yet convenient to downtown Evergreen and the Lake. We are also close to freeway access to the mountains or to Denver. There is hospital-quality humidified air and air conditioning. Breathing at the Bungalow is a breeze! Extra-wide doorways make wheelchair access possible.

We loved the mountain cabin vibe that we had. The cottage is adorable and Libby was so helpful. Would definitely recommend and if we ever end up back in Evergreen, we would for sure see if this is available again for another stay

The cabin exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was beautifully equipped, both with finishes, appliances and dishes/equipment. It felt both elevated and homey. Both beds were very comfortable. We had Elk wandering around the yard and neighbors years most days. Very convenient to everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The loveseat was broken and was not usable and seating was uncomfortable. No outdoor chairs to enjoy the weather. The beds were fine. Just not what we expected. Was disappointed in our stay. Left a day early. Owner was nice but didn't help with some request

We loved our stay. Beautiful and clean! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The cabin had everything you would need. We highly recommend should you want a place to stay in or near Evergreen!

Great home with nice views

We enjoyed our stay except the router cut out 3 times for an hour. The beds are small in length and it’s easy to stub toe on unprotected railing. The bathroom needs grab bars for safety. The living room needs lazy boys and a shorter table for dining. The kitchen was well appointed and we lacked for nothing. Great appliances. Nice to have gardener and maintenance man. Great views of wildlife.

Beautiful property and well appointed for a cozy homey stay

Loved the home and it was very cozy and worked well as a base for accessing activities in the area. We did have some trouble checking in with no key box access. Had to call VRBO to assist but was able to get in a few hours after check-in.

Just book it!

We had the most amazing stay at this cozy cabin! Exactly as pictured, the home is beautifully decorated and as comfortable as they come. Clean, comfortable, and accommodating. There is everything you need for a week long (or even longer!) stay. We were able to enjoy the local food options as well as make meals for ourselves at home. Libby was an outstanding host! Communication was great & check in/out was simple and easy. The location is perfect, as our vacation was centered around a concert at Red Rocks, only a 25 minute scenic drive. The town of Evergreen is the cutest, with plenty to fill your time - from beautiful walks and hikes, shopping, and dining! As soon as we checked out we started talking about our next stay! We will 100% be booking another stay next year

Beautiful Mountain Cottage

From the minute we pulled into the driveway we knew we were somewhere special! The attention to detail throughout the cottage was amazing! We loved everything about it from location, decor, accommodations, every last detail was thought of! Libby was an exceptional host & we can’t wait to stay again!

Everything about this property was exactly as listed. Incredibly clean and honestly felt like I was walking into my own home. Very detailed with personal touches and perfectly located. We will be staying there again.

Red Rocks

This is a lovely bungalow. Everything was clean and welcoming. It was a great location for us to visit family, experience Red Rocks, and enjoy Evergreen.

Excellent Stay

Great house. Fantastic location a few minutes from downtown Evergreen and Evergreen Lake. Libby has paid attention to details and thought of everything you could want or need in a house. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in the decor and amenities. Nice that it all feels very new. Definitely recommended - I will be back!

Excellent location if you are going to Redrocks concert

My husband and I flew into Denver and chose to stay in Evergreen because we wanted a rural setting that was close to the Redrocks concert venue.. This house was a perfect location. It is very secluded although just minutes from "downtown" Evergreen. There are grocery stores and gas stations nearby and restaurants too. The concert we attended was excellent but we were also able to visit RMNP, Garden of the Gods, and Pike's Peak. The scenery is amazing no matter which direction your explorations take you. Ms. Libby's home is a perfect base. Along with the comfortable furnishings, the interior of the house is decorated beautifully with lots of interesting collections, artwork, and wildlife photographs. The perfectly placed windows let in light and showcase the wooded setting. We saw some of the local wildlife including deer grazing in the yard and squirrels scampering in the pine and spruce trees. We truly enjoyed our 5-night visit and would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Evergreen.

Beautiful House

Beautiful house!! The pictures do not do it justice! Set in a wooded area with deer and other wildlife walking through backyard. Very well equipped with everything needed for vacation. Relaxing setting. Very close to lake and restaurants. We went to Red Rocks for concert. Beautiful drive. Libby was excellent to work with and provided great info about the area. Would definitely would go back and recommend.

Enchanted Bungalow in the Rocky Mountains

Newly renovated large bungalow-type house in great private Rocky Mountain location. Comfortable, cozy, beautiful, and very clean. Proprietor Libby has taken great pride in creating a gem using high quality materials, eclectic interior design, and attention to detail, the house has everything needed for a luxurious mountain short or long term experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the area eateries and restaurants, surrounded by numerous hiking and skiing options, and only 45 minute drive to Denver. Highly recommended without reservations.

Awesome Bungalow!!

We are privileged to be the first people to stay in the Blue Spruce Bungalow and write a review!! Our month long stay was fantastic and Libby, our host, was always available and quick to respond. The bungalow’s decor is eclectic with a bit of “whimsy” which made it so fun when gazing throughout the house. It was comfortable, exceptionally clean, full of amenities, close to hiking trails and located near the lovely town of Evergreen. Our early morning walks around Evergreen Lake was so peaceful…and watching from our windows the Elk stroll through the neighborhood was a treat. Thank you Libby for being a wonderful host. We look forward to our next visit.
