Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I tried reaching out to the owner 3 days before arrival and had no response within 24 hours, so I reached out to Vrbo, as I was getting nervous getting so close to our arrival with no contact. Vrbo was able to reach the property manager who gave us clear instructions for our arrival and met us at the gate. The check in process was very smooth. There were a few issues. Upon arrival, the pool in front of condo was empty, it was later filled and opened about 4 or 5 days after our arrival. While it wasn’t the owner’s fault, I would’ve liked to know prior to arrival. There is another pool but our fob did not work for that one, so we had to get other people to let us in and out. The day we arrived we had two major water issues, as did many other units in the complex due to the pressure of the water coming in from the main line. Several units in the complex including ours had blown pipes, which left us with no cold water from the faucets. This was not the fault of the owner and the property manager was very responsive. However, it should be noted that the general infrastructure of the building is in poor condition. The kitchen was well equipped and the furniture was generally comfortable. It could use better pillows in the bedroom. The toilet room is small with no ventilation, so there was a constant odor. The bakery, pharmacy, small grocery store, pharmacy and pizza place were convenient.
