Welcome to the Willow Ranch House. This creek side home is a 1920`s farmhouse situated on 40 acres just 20 minutes west of Port Angeles. This ranch house was newly remodeled in 2022 and lacks no attention to detail. Stepping foot into the house you are consumed by the history and care put into every detail. Take a soak in the clawfoot tub or sit out by the fire pit and admire the sweeping views and serene landscape. We look forward to hosting you.
Willow Ranch House boasts an open floor plan comfortably holding 6 guests. There is one bedrooms, upstairs loft with 2 beds, one bathroom, a generously stocked kitchen with all the essentials, living room, dining table, washer & dryer. All beds are queen size beds.
We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to:
- Kitchen with essentials including, coffee, tea, creamer, salt, pepper, and - cooking oil.
- Towels and linens.
- Shampoo, conditioner & body wash
- Starlink WIFI
- Smart TV w/
- Onsite Washer/Dryer
- Fire pit
More about the outside space: This 3rd generation family working farm raises Black Angus Herford cross cattle. They will have up to 20-head of livestock seasonally. There are vintage farm structures, including a 1940`s barn, equipment shed and animal shelters.
If you plan to bring your horse, there is plenty of parking for your truck and horse trailer on-site. There is a small turn-out with cover for up to 2 horses. We ask that you notify us if you bring your horses so we can prepare the pen.
More about the location: The farm is conveniently located within only a few short miles to the Straits of Juan de Fuca with easy access to Forest Service land and the Olympic National Park. This is a great jumping off point for hikers, bikers, equestrian, fishing, surfer`s and outdoor enthusiasts.
The beloved Olympic Adventure Trail is minutes from this location. This trail system takes you all the way from the Elwha River to the west side of Lake Crescent. This is a beautiful trail for hikers, runners, mountain bikers and trail horses. If you plan to bring your horse, there is plenty of parking for your truck and horse trailer at the trail head. Enjoy the beautifully groomed labyrinth of trail that fits all age groups and experience levels. This is a well-established trail providing opportunities for interval training with varied elevations and switchbacks taking you through topography. You will see views of the straits, lakes, fern grottos, and ride through beautiful timberlands.
18 min drive to downtown PA and the BC ferry, 19 minutes to the Hurricane Ridge Visitors Center, 30 min to lake crescent, 40 min to Sequim, 1h7min to Sol Duc Resort, 11 minutes to Salt Creek Rec area, 12 min to Elwha River, 1h 25m to lapush, 1hr 43min to Cape Flattery, 1h 58min to Hoh Rainforest.
Guests will have access to the home, fire pit, and yard. If you wish to take a look around, we ask that you stay close and respect the owners privacy. We also ask that guests not enter in any storage areas, barn, or designated animal pastures.
We are available when needed.
This property is located in a rural, quiet setting. There are some neighbors but not many.
You must have your own transportation.
The upstairs loft with two queen beds has low ceilings and no door. Please watch your head and be conscious of this before booking.
*There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*
-Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. • This is an active, working farm. There will be daily visits from the owners in the nearby barns, and storage areas . Attending to the animals, beehives, fruit trees, seasonal garden and land.
• While it may be tempting to pet or feed the animals we kindly ask that you do not pet or tamper with the animals or vegetation. Please respect and keep out of the fenced areas where the animals live.
• The owners live on the farm but are situated on a different part of the farm. While there is plenty of privacy for you, we ask that you please respect their privacy too.
• The creek actively has protected salmon and steelhead that visit from time to time to hang out and spawn. Please respect them. We ask that guests not swim or disturb their habitat.
• Two small pets under 50 lbs. are allowed with pet fee. Guests are subject to payment of any additional fees and deposits for any extra clean up or damage. Dogs must be attended at all times and on leash when outdoors. There are chickens, cows and horses in close proximity of the Willow Ranch House. Bringing your pet is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same.
• Please attend to all children when around the creek. You are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to insure your safety and the safety of those in your party.
• Only use fire pit and axe if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the fire pit is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the fire pit – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters.
• Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.
• This house uses a septic system; ONLY toilet paper can be flushed. Fixing a septic clog is upwards of $1000 charge, so please remember to abide by these rules.
• Because we keep our house sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
• We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in house.
• Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.
• No illegal drugs allowed, it`s the law.
• No smoking is allowed inside the cabin. Guests who do so will be charged a cleaning fee of $500. Smoking is allowed outside but cigarette butts must be disposed of properly.
• Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 60 degrees when not in use.
• We are honored you decided to choose our ranch house, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. This house is for registered guests only. There should be no more than 6 guests at the house.
• Please stay out of the storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.
• Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the home.
• We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.
• Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.
• Check-out: Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise talked about with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.
• Violations of these rules can result in additional fees or immediate cancelation of your reservation and removal from the property without refund.
• License to Occupy Only; No Landlord-Tenant Relationship.
Guest acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement creates a revocable license to occupy the Property for transient lodging purposes only. This Agreement is not a lease, does not convey any real-property interest, and does not create a landlord-tenant relationship under any state or local law.
Primary Guest Responsible for All Occupants.
The individual who books the reservation (“Primary Guest”) hereby accepts full legal and financial responsibility for (a) themselves, (b) all other guests, occupants, invitees, visitors, or persons allowed onto the Property (“Additional Guests”), regardless of whether such persons have signed this Agreement. Primary Guest represents and warrants that all Additional Guests shall comply with all rules, policies, and terms of this Agreement. Any breach of this Agreement by an Additional Guest shall be deemed a breach by the Primary Guest.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Guest and all Additional Guests shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Property Manager, and their respective members, officers, employees, agents, and contractors (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, fines, penalties, attorney fees, or costs arising out of or related to:
(a) Guest’s or any Additional Guest’s use or occupancy of the Property;
(b) violations of this Agreement or House Rules;
(c) personal injury, death, or property damage occurring on or about the Property;
(d) actions or omissions of Additional Guests, invitees, or third parties allowed onto the Property
