Summary:
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, modern condo!
Newly remodeled 2 BR, 2 bath condo with a beautiful mountain/forest view! Just 1.7 mi from Ober Gatlinburg, 5 mi to Smoky Mountain National Park, 3.8 mi to Gatlinburg Strip, 7 mi to Pigeon Forge. Close to all the attractions, yet far enough to afford the peace and quiet you're looking for. Fully equipped kitchen, smart TVs in both BRs and LR, washer/dryer, mini crib, stroller, highchair, pool and clubhouse (in warmer months). Sleeps 6.
The Space:
Fully Equipped Kitchen: Brand new stainless steel appliances include refrigerator with ice and water in door, range, microwave, dishwasher. Crockpot, blender, toaster, baking dishes, utensils, Keurig Duo coffee maker, wine glasses, pots and pans. Stacking washer and dryer available for use. Starter pack of 1 paper towel roll, travel size dish soap, dishwasher and laundry pacs, coffee, tea and sweetener to get you started.
Dining Room: Seating for 6 at the table plus 3 barstools at the beautiful live-edge bar.
Living Room: Brand new pullout sofa with upgraded gel foam mattress, loveseat, and chair offer plenty of seating for watching TV or playing some of the games provided by your host. Smart TV with cable is ready for movie night. Sliding door leads to the spacious balcony where you will find a comfortable sofa and chairs for relaxing and watching for wildlife. A great place for enjoying your favorite beverages or a meal in the fresh mountain air. Listen to the birds, watch for bears, and watch the tram go up and down the mountain. Our favorite place to hang out!
Master bedroom: King size bed, reading lamps with USB ports for charging devices, smart TV with cable, en suite bathroom, and private entrance to balcony. White-noise machine and alarm clock.
2nd Bedroom: Queen bed, large closet (where you will find a mini-crib, crib sheets, a highchair, and an umbrella stroller with sunshade). Smart TV, white-noise machine, and alarm clock. Shares the 2nd full bath, but has a pocket door to close off for extra privacy, creating a junior suite.
In the warmer months, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, you will have access to the "Owner's Club" clubhouse and pool that are right next door, as well as two other pools within a short drive. Clubhouse has indoor recreation area with a pool table and air hockey. 2nd Facility is only minutes away on Village Loop Rd and offers an 85,000-gallon pool, playground, tennis courts, basketball, shuffleboard and indoor recreation area. If you forget to stop for groceries on the way in, or just need to grab something quick, there is a small market one mile down the mountain called "Chalet Village Market."
Keyless door lock with unique key issued on day of check-in. WiFi code provided day of check-in. Ample parking provided in condo's parking lot.
We are on the third floor, so you have a great view, but you do have to go down 10 steps to get to the front door.
Condo is pretty far up the mountains, and there are some winding roads, but we will send directions for the easiest routes upon booking. Please use these instead of GPS, which sometimes gets you lost or puts you on terrible roads to save one minute of time. After the first trip or two, you will be an expert!
Please note that as mentioned above, the roads are steep and curvy. The directions we provide will put you on the safest, most traveled roads. These are paved, two lane roads, but if driving on steep mountain roads is a potential problem for you, this may not be the place for you. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund on day of check in. We highly recommend 4-wheel drive if staying in the winter months.
Guest Access:
Guest will have access to entire condo and balcony. You will also have access to 3 pools and clubhouses: one is on-site, one at 705 Village Loop Rd, and one at 1319 South Baden Dr. Just remember to bring the guest passes that are in the condo.
