The Space:

This is the biggest house in all of the Melrose Cottage neighborhood. Boasting ample space to accommodate up to 20 guests, our stunning property is perfect for those seeking a serene oasis with uninterrupted ocean views. Each bedroom is elegantly designed and furnished with plush bedding, ensuring a comfortable and rejuvenating night's sleep.



-Located 2 homes over from the resort the amenity center and massive oceanfront. Melrose pool and club facility. Also at the pool house is pickleball, a golf simulator, a restaurant/bar, fitness center just two properties down from this property

Guest Access:

Daufuskie Island is located on the southernmost point of South Carolina & is only accessible by boat. That being said, it is one most beautiful places in all of the United States & is well worth the adventure.



You will travel to and from the Island via a Ferry & picked up from the Dock by a shuttle, which we will coordinate. Keyless entry code & travel logistics will be shared once booked.



The pool is owned by the POA for Melrose and there are separate charges for the pool access. It has just been redone & extremely nice. See photo in listing for breakdown of payment options for pool passes.



The Neighborhood:

152 Avenue of the Oaks is located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood of Melrose on Daufuskie Island, SC. The area is known for its pristine beaches, picturesque oak trees, and charming Southern hospitality. You'll find plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation, including fishing, boating, kayaking, and biking. There are also local shops and restaurants nearby. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, explore the island's rich history, or enjoy some local cuisine, you'll find everything you need just a short distance from our oceanfront property.



Getting Around:

Golf carts are the main form of transportation on Daufuskie Island.



Other Things to Note:

Please let us know if you would like to rent golf carts (recommended). The golf cart(s) will be waiting at the house for you upon your arrival.



The pool is currently closed & will be open in May/June 2023



**Pet Friendly:



Well-behaved canine family members are welcome but must be adult dogs, housetrained, must stay off of furniture, not be incessant barkers, and must be friendly towards humans and other dogs. Upon departure, the vacation home should look as though no pet had been in it, including the removal of pet hair. There is a pet fee of $ 250 for one dog, and $450 for two dogs.
