If you’re looking for a vacation spot where you and your family can get away from all the noise and just enjoy nature, you’ve found it! Our cabin by the woods offers enough sleeping space for your whole family. Gather everyone together for a meal inside, or sit outside on the back deck and enjoy the scenic, wooded view. Take a dip in the hottub afterwards to find ultimate relaxation. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for creating all your meals, or take advantage of the Blackstone griddle on the deck to serve up a hearty breakfast for a big group, or some stir fry for dinner! Have fun playing cornhole, and then enjoy a campfire after dark.

Really nice house. Not actually 4 bedrooms but we were able to make it work.A wonderful location away from everything and had the best vacation I have had in years.Thanks for everything.

The initial impression was deflating. Property was not maintained at all on the outside. Knee hi Weeds all around, making fire pit unusable. The front porch and back deck were filthy. All the Tables and chairs had a greasy layer of dirt and grime. 1 charcoal grill and a black stone were so dirty, we opted not to use the one. Our lake weekend trips revolve around the deck, grilling and hanging out in the evenings - we could do none of that. The hot tub was not clean and we felt it was not our job to have to “treat” it to use it. Kitchen pans, baking sheets were dirty. We needed to wash all prior to using. There was food left in the refrigerator. In the laundry closet, there was a black tar like residue all over the inside of the dryer! Bedrooms were mediocre. They did look clean, but mattresses were not comfortable. No blinds on the upper windows made the uppermost guest Bedroom very warm and uncomfortable. The host was very helpful while we were planning the vacay. Even sending better photos so we could see the bedroom layouts better to coordinate who would sleep where. Note 2 of the rooms are open and guests have to go thru the loft bedroom to get to the 3rd floor bedroom. Not a complaint, just something that’s good to know if your guests aren’t family. It just was surprising to find the house in the condition that it was in. Obviously, we will not be coming back as it did not meet our expectations. Respectfully submitted.

We had a great time at this property. We would stay here again and I would recommend this host. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and was very kind. The house was very clean and provided comfortable accommodations for my family. We really enjoyed our time here!

Amazing Property

We had our family Christmas gathering here, and it was just perfect. The living room and kitchen area is open, there was enough beds for all the adults in our immediate family and the kids loved the bunk beds in the loft as well as the hot tub. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. All the TVs were new models with all streaming services already logged in for us to use. The property owner was quick to answer any questions I had and the process was so smooth. If I had to give any negatives it is just a curvy road heading out there but this was very clear in the description before booking, so we all knew to take it easy on the road. Overall we had a great time and it really made our family Christmas special. Definitely hope to book with them again!

Our stay in the cabin

The pictures of the inside were represented accurately. The outside were not. The listing says 3 dogs of any size and our dogs and children had no yard to play in. The backyard was overgrown the location of the firepit was in the gravel on the side of the house not the back yard.. we had to stick to the porches to be outside because the yard was overgrown. The Hott tub had to be cleaned out and shocked before it could have been used. The back porch was dirty the black stone and charcoal grill were dirty and gross and had to be cleaned before use. Flies were everywhere from the grease that was sitting. One of the fans on the porch were missing a blade. The inside was nice my only complaint was the kitchen trash crab was gross and dirty and the fans in the house needed dusted. Other than that the area was nice and we had great family time. Just wish the outside was represented better, we wouldn’t have brought our dogs or would have stayed somewhere else. I messaged the host after my stay to explain this because I don’t like posting negative reviews, however she has yet to respond. I feel her guests should arrive with everything clean and ready for use. Atleast that was my expectation.

Perfect Vacation

The house was very clean, the kitchen was stocked, beds were super comfy and there was plenty of room for my family of 8. We could of easily fit a few more. The teenagers really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. The owner was very nice and responded when I had a question. There was plenty of parking for our cars and our boat and the ramp was co convenient and close. I would definitely stay here again.

Lake Cumberland getaway

Just what my family of 12 was looking for. A place to spend weekend before embarking on houseboat trip. I highly recommend General Burnside Golf Course to anyone who has their clubs along…just in case. Amenities at property were pleasing and nicely appointed. Comfortable beds, plush towels, morning coffee station. Would not hesitate to stay there if we return to that area.

This property is beautiful and a wonderful place to stay with your family. The owner is very nice and very reliable in getting back with you and very nice!
