Bessie's Nest- Tranquil Home Close to Public Beach

Experience a Conneaut summer in this stylish space with room for the whole family. This recently updated home is well appointed and includes a fenced in back yard and lovely lake views throughout. Plenty of space to entertain and only a few minutes drive to Conneaut's spectacular Township park.

This cottage was designed to be family friendly (the kids will love the triple bunk bed!). It can sleep up to 9 comfortably and has four bedrooms.

The space
Open down stairs floor plan makes this space great for bonding with your loved ones. The large dining room table is perfect for family meals and board games. The fenced in back yard provides a great area for little ones (or fur babies) to run around.
The house is a quick 2.6 mile drive to public beach access (Township Park).
Guest access
The whole place is yours!

Amenities include: board games, toys, sand toys, beach towels, beach chairs, wagon for the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Yard games, fenced in yard with chairs and a fire pit.

This is an adorable quaint and charming cottage but it is not a luxury hotel. Come her to unplug, connect with family, and enjoy all the outside activities Conneaut has to offer. We do have wifi.
Other things to note
The house is well suited for families including those with infants and toddlers. There are two bedrooms downstairs. The bathroom located on the first floor has a shower but is small. The upstairs has two bedrooms and a bathroom that includes a bathtub.
We do have window ac units in each bedroom (excluding the kid's bedroom) and a unit in the living room.
There is a pack n play and a high chair for your use.
Single night reservations or month-long stays may be possible on an individual basis. The monthly discount is based on the season (greater discount in the spring/fall/winter). Please inquire

Bessie’s nest is a great place for a family! Lots of room and plenty of beds. Well equipped kitchen, family games and books and toys. Everything we needed. Very close to Conneaut township park which has great beach assess along with a park and restrooms. It even has a view of the lake! We had a great stay, thank you!

FANTASTIC!

We had 5 adults, 3 year old and 7 month old. How accommodating the home was! The description of the property was right on! So many nooks and crannies for the 3 year old!! She did not want to leave!!! Would absolutely do it again!!!

Very good property with lot of great views

Property is very nice and is accurate with online listing. The only thing i would like to mention is that interiors like sink should be repaired so that pipe is fixed and the water goes away. There are lot of cob webs and spiders that should be cleaned too. The views are awesome from outside the house. It is on the cliff and as the online listing says you can drive to the beach.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our Family had a wonderful time in this well stocked cottage. The views were spectacular, and the neighborhood was a delight. The house provided all our needs and the fenced in back yard along with the use of the garage was a bonus for the kids to play safely outside. The cottage offered a family friendly, nostalgic atmosphere and it was within proximity to lots of amenities. The Conneaut City park with the beach was amazing, and just down the road, perfect for families with children. Conneaut Creek was close by and offered fishing and kayaking opportunities, while Presque Isle State Park was not too far away. We even visited Niagra Falls during our stay (it's only 2hrs away). We would definitely recommend you check it out.

Lake Erie Vacation

This place was so thoughtful and well put together. It is absolutely perfect if you have small kids. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing place for families!

Lots of really cool small treasures around the house for families, loved all the board games really was awesome to find cards against humanity. The hidden playroom under the stairs was the coolest ever as well as the hammock swing thing in the back yard. Only needed to reach out to owner one time for a small question and got a very prompt response. Thanks for having us, will probably be back in the future!

We will be back!

We appreciated this cozy little, but spacious lake cottage for our weekend getaway. All the amenities and details thought of, which made it possible just to load my whole family in the car with just a couple days worth of clothes and toiletries. The location is perfect. Secluded enough to have peace and quiet, but close enough to stores (incase you forgot something) and places to dine out. We had a great weekend!
