Cynthia - your home was very comfortable and I appreciate you letting us stay.I wish I could give you a 5 star rating but there are several reasons why I cannot:1. Upon arrival the house smelled terrible - like wet dogs. The garage smelled of mildew. 2. Not prepared- Dishes were in the dish washer and laundry was in the dryer. 3. Your kitchen drawers are a mess. Drawer organizers and make the kitchen tidy would be a huge improvement.4. No towels in the bathrooms, no paper towels or paper napkins. I had to hunt down towels and could never find any dish towels. New towels would be great and you can order dark monogrammed makeup towels on amazon very inexpensively.5. Maintenance needs to be done - drapes need to be washed, couches need to cleaned and a lot of touch up paint. 6. Too much of left over foods in the cupboards - No one wants to look at or use others left overs. The pantry should be minimal- not opened flour and onion skins etc. 7. Lack of furniture - we didn’t have a place to put our luggage. Good guests do not put dirty luggage on the bed and not on the floor due to bugs. No coffee table, side tables or places to gather other than the kitchen table.I hope you will take my feedback in good spirit. I see what you are trying to do and your decorating is very sweet, clean and elegant. Love the touches and simplicity.I hope to return as we are a military family and would like to refer you.Every Blessing.
