Single Story Home in a quiet neighborhood

This unique house has a “Western Style” all its own. We’ve combined rustic wood with comfortable furnishings for a space that everyone can enjoy! In the kitchen you’ll find everything you need (and more) for cooking and heating your favorite meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also fully stocked.
We carefully chose this house and neighborhood for a place to stay when visiting our family in Lakeview. Sharing it with guests just makes it more fun! So.. kick off your boots and enjoy your stay!!

Great stay

Excellent VRBO listing. Met up with an old pal and this place was perfect. Lakeview was cowboy before Yellowstone and this listing has the vibe of the ranch town and the great country around it. My friend and I used to run around here in the 1980's and the friendly nature of Lakeview hasn't changed. Great place to get a dose of the true American west.

This guest home is very welcoming and well supplied for guests. The location is very central to the "urban" area. My grandkids enjoyed the toys and games.

Perfection in Lakeview

I recently stayed at this property while attending a class at Thunder Ranch. The pictures actually don’t do justice to just how nice and clean the house is. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the entire house is warm, comfortable and inviting. If you have friends or family I would highly recommend staying here. The location is ideal as there are stores and restaurants with mere minutes. You can wake up each morning and watch several deer walk by as you drink your morning coffee. The kitchen is beautiful and modern making cooking a pleasure. I am attending another class next spring and this is exactly where I want to stay when visiting Lakeview.if I could give them 10 stars, I most certainly would.

Mini vaca gem in Lakeview

What a great property. The house was welcoming, comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities needed for a short mini vacation. Just over an hour to rock hunting and an hour the other direction for fishing. Will absolutely recommend this to friends and stay again!

Sun stone digging experience

What an adorable home! The owners clearly take pride in their home. Everything was as neat and tidy and clean as you could hope for. The washer and dryer worked great as did everything in the kitchen. It was so nice to have two bedrooms completely on separate ends of the house as we could not hear each other and all got really good sleep. The stars are amazing! It was easy to find easy to get into and easy to communicate with the owners who graciously even accommodated some extra requests. Thank you so much I would highly recommend.

Perfect!

What a great house! We were in town for Junior High Rodeo this past weekend. This house is GREAT! Although we weren't there a lot, and didn't use the house to it's full potential, but it has everything. Right down to a playpen. Kudo's to the owner, they really did seem to think of everything that might be needed. 10/10 would stay here again.

Exceeded our Expectations

We enjoyed a perfect 3 night visit with our grandkids (and their parents) who live in Lakeview. We were so excited to find the Comfy Cowboy House. The beds and furnishing are so comfortable….I especially like the rocking swivel chairs. And the AC was a welcome relief from the heat. We liked that house was located in a safe neighborhood. We will definitely stay again.

My husband (Al) and I had a great time getting this little vacation house put together! It was FUN but also a challenge. We shopped locally for most of the furniture, but we filled our SUV more than twice with decor, bedding etc. to drive up from Northern California. We live three hours away in a small mountain town in Shasta County... Shingletown.
This home is so comfy that we have a hard time leaving when we have to return. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we do!

In 2020 two of our grown kids moved their families here to Lakeview from Napa Ca.. One bought an RV Park, the other came for a job opportunity. After several visits to Lakeview we really fell in love with the small town charm, and decided to buy our first "second home". This house had a ton of charm and character.. and the neighborhood was PERFECT! So, everything we put into the house was for our own comfort and enjoyment. After having a blast at the Lakeview Rodeo/ Round-Up we loved the idea of a Western Theme... so we ran with it!! Come enjoy Lakeview and stay with us anytime!
