My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The home was tastefully decorated. I wished we had time to enjoy the outdoor space and screened in back porch. We had to take care of some business, but would return for relaxation at a later time. Even though we did not bring our pets. It was nice to see that our pets were welcome.

Great Find in Franklinton NC

This is a stellar rental property. From the reservation to check-in to check-out, we enjoyed every moment. Our host replied IMMEDIATELY when we had a question, and was so polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. The house itself is perfectly staged, not too much fussiness, yet so inviting. We were comfortable there from Day 1. We also loved the proximity to the Historical section of Franklinton, which is all walkable. We ate at Curtsey's, Franco's, Toro Tacos, the bakery and the ice cream shoppe. A personal favorite for me was hearing the train so near two times daily as I love traveling the Amtrak Cardinal. I hope to return next June!This host and home is a great find!

Wonderful Stay in Franklinton

Really great spot in a small and quiet little town. A great base for visits with friends in the area and away from the bustle of Raleigh (but not too far away). Older house but well maintained and lots of little extras. Loved sitting on the screened in porch to enjoy breakfast. Bedrooms were comfortable and my Mom and I had all the amenities we needed for a nice stay.

Enjoyable stay

Our stay was enjoyable. The host responded promptly and hospitably when we asked questions. I gave 4 stars on cleanness because the bathroom toilet had a supply line leak that I reported to the host. He responded promptly. There were also complementary toiletries that were helpful as well as refreshments (snacks, drinks, etc) that the host had left for us to enjoy. Great experience!

Wedding Bells

This property was perfectly located for my son's wedding. The vows were recited in the woods on his property on Collins Mill Rd in Castalia, N.C. but the reception was held in the old train station on Mason St. in Franklinton. Everything worked out perfectly, even though rain drops spoiled part of the ceremony. Our stay at the house was comfortable all week and the street was quiet in the evenings. There was ample parking for our family's 3 cars. Main street with its shops and many dining venues was just a few blocks away. We will be back!

Perfect “temporary” home

We spent 3 weeks in this property while our home nearby was undergoing some renovations. It was the perfect location to be able to check on our house and to be in a convenient place. The host was very prompt in answering the few questions we had. Although this is an older home, it is quite charming and most importantly it was clean and the bed slept great! An added bonus was the great restaurants and coffee shop in easy walking distance. I recommend!

Perfect getaway for a local event

We loved our stay at Jehu’s home! Everything was perfect and easy from check in to check out. The house was filled with everything you could ask for to include wine, snacks, and water! Many extra touches throughout and the beds were super comfortable. The bars and boutiques of Franklinton were just a one block walk away. Highly recommend this home if you are in town.

My place is located on a quiet one-way street within Downtown Franklinton. The town has implemented a revitalization plan that showcases the exciting growth coming to the area. This house is walkable to new and coming dining, shopping and fun activities.

This 1950's brick ranch home has lived a long life and I’ve worked hard to bring it into the present while maintaining the character that makes it so unique! This house is located on a quiet one-way street leading to downtown Franklinton. The kitchen is fully stocked with filtered water, a coffee maker and basic spices & seasonings for cooking. There are also non-perishable foods for guests if they would like to use them. This home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 feature queen beds and the third bedroom has two twin beds. All rooms have extra comforters available in the closets. There is a spacious living room and dining room for guests to enjoy and relax in. There is a full laundry room as well. Enjoy a drink on the front porch or head around back where guests are welcome to relax on the screened in porch or rear patio area with fire pit and grill.
