Great experience at Clear Lake

This property is accessible to, but still secluded from the activity of a vacation area. The Riviera area is close enough to the boat launch at Clear Lake but great views from the hill-tops. The property was just right for our family of 5 including an octogenerian and late teens. Breakfast and Bakery are within a 10 min drive.

Mid-century dream

The house was beautiful. Perfect size for our family of 5. Kids loved the video games; parents loved that everyone had their own space! Very close to everything and a stunning view of the lake. We’re already planning a winter trip using the same property!

Great weekend in lake county

Everything was clean, easy to find or use, and worked. Nice view of the lake, and nice backyard with clean hot tub. Everyone said the beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive to questions and was very generous to let us have an early checkin. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Lake, Jacuzzi, Deer - Just Lovely

We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again. It's a lovely, quiet neighborhood where we were visited by deer several times in a few days. The beds were comfortable and the shower water pressure was marvelous. The jacuzzi was a welcome addition. The porch overlooking the lake in the distance was often enjoyed. There are a number of kind touches throughout the home like a little desk space in one bedroom, an extra sitting room, and comfy outdoor furniture. The living room mini-split A/C kept the main room very pleasant and the fans and/or room A/Cs worked well in the bedrooms. The kitchen is quite well stocked with tools, pans and cutlery. The couch felt well used and definitely took some maneuvering to get up from, but the other chairs worked well for people who weren't as mobile. Speaking of, if anyone in your party finds walking or balance challenging, just be aware that the driveway is quite uneven, there is a small stairway to the front door, and going to the backyard requires a few short stairsteps to navigate - nothing impossible, but good to know about in advance.

Charming House, Stunning View

The house was lovely, clean, and styled nicely. It had something for everyone, with video games for our youngest, a hot tub for our teen, a yoga space for me, and a tv for my husband. It was like a dream waking up to a panoramic lake view in the mornings and snuggling up with a good book in the evenings. A few very minor drawbacks included a bit of difficulty checking in (but a caring, responsive host), interior bedroom and bathroom doors that do not lock (which I imagine is for security, but can be problematic for privacy reasons), and that the television in the living room was too slow to stream, and would crash (but the tv in the game room worked beautifully, with a large sectional to accommodate everyone). These minor drawbacks were certainly not enough to keep us from enjoying ourselves fully. We went to a variety of fantastic restaurants around the area, drove around the lake admiring the view, and enjoyed the breakfast bars and fresh coffee beans and grinder that were waiting on the counter for us. All in all it was a lovely visit, and if we’re ever back in the area, I’d definitely stay here again.
