Spacious home in beautiful neighborhood

The house was even better than expected. Very big, open dining and kitchen area. Lovely outside sitting area. Perfect for cooking and spending time with family.

Walk to ocean!

Had the best week ever! Walked the gorgeous hills twice daily, son ran along beach path for miles, easy drive to grocery store and great restaurants in Marina del Rey, and loved family time with the house’s game table and Pac Man. House had beach towels, beach chairs and cooler for relaxing afternoon at Manhattan Beach. Large island in kitchen made meals easy. Would highly recommend staying here!

Not as Advertised for Many Reasons Below

Listing said "Entire Home" but it is actually only the front part of the house with others living in the back of the same house. Only a locked door in the hall separated our rooms from the other people's rooms. The rooms share the same ventilation ducts with other people living in the back part of the house. It was not private at all! We heard other people's noise, dogs, talking and showering at all hours. Marijuana smoke came through the ventilation ducts at all hours especially late at night even though listing says"non-smoking". There was thousands of flying bugs that bothered us while we sat or slept. Bugs kept landing on our food and drinks. It was super nasty! I bought sticky traps to catch the bugs but there was so many we couldn't get rid of them. I think the bugs were coming through the duct vents. Counters and floors were sticky, dirty and not cleaned. My feet turned black when I walked on floor without shoes. Also the listing says there' s A/C & heat but there is only one a/c unit in the living room and no heat or a/c units in the 2 bedrooms. There are many missing blinds on the windows.The only good part is that it's in a really nice neighborhood and they had a nice recliner chair. Pricing should be much lower for a space where you have loud smokers living in the same house you are renting with shared ventilation, and it should not be listed as an "Entire Home". Host refused to give a partial refund that was requested due to home not being at all as advertised.

Property is cute, neighborhood is very nice. Its a bit rough around the edges so don’t expect luxury. Well stocked, had everything we needed.

Home away from home

The property was lovely. Even better than the pictures. The large center island really made the space beautiful. I have to comment on the extra small touches we’ll call them. Meaning - seasonings, shampoo, conditioner, soap, candles in the bathroom and nice toilet paper. Not the super cheap stuff a lot of people use lol! Beach chairs. A small cooler. These small touches really made a difference. We stayed in another Vrbo for half of our trip in Arizona and did not get any of these things. We travel to California a lot and I will be staying again. Worth the price. Walking distance to the beach. Wonderful stay. Host replied promptly!

Nice clean home in a good neighborhood

The house was just as described. Clean and well very stocked. The home is located in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood. Parking was a little difficult at times since units on street parking, so we didn’t always get to park close to the house, but overall always found somewhere to park. Check in/checkout was such an easy process. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this owner and property with 5 stars.

Great location

Great location with ability to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and the beach! Very well stocked with everything you would need and an added bonus...a Pacman game! The host was very quick to respond when we had difficulty figuring out the heat! We had a great time visiting LA!

Excellent location

Really nice cozy home on top of the hill of Playa del Rey. We walked to the beach and restaurants down the hill. Great host communication and the house has everything needed to feel comfortable. This was our second stay and the house has improvements not shown in the pictures.

Wonderful Week In Playa del Rey

We had a wonderful week-long stay in this beautiful spacious home. The neighborhood is quiet and ideally located within walking distance of Toes beach. The host was friendly and available to address any concerns and the residence was well stocked with all the conveniences of home including games and everything you could possibly want to cook a nice meal. Our vacation was great - we'll definitely be coming back for another stay.

Cozy, welcoming home in a beautiful location!

No hot tub!

Unit listed a hot tub when we booked. But no such amenity. When we pointed out the problem and called VRBO we negotiated a nightly discount. But i would have rather had the hot tub. I believe it was just a mistake by the listers, but still very frustrating. Also, there was a barking dog next door. Still, great neighborhood, good house, and a fun trip.

In town for family wedding

Spent four nights visiting family for a wedding nearby. Nice quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, shopping, airport, and freeways. Huge living room and kitchen are great for visiting and hanging out. Bedrooms were cozy. Enjoyed the stay!

Great stay in Playa Del Rey

This house was perfect for us. It was one of the best stocked homes that we have stayed in. The kitchen had all of the dishes, pots and plans, utensils, plus tons of spices for easy meal prep. There were also games, beach chairs and a really nice first aid kit.
