Come stay in our cozy log cabin in the mountains! Beautifully made 1,300 sqft log home with wood burning fireplace, huge private yard, loft and 3 bedrooms (sleeps up to 6). This cozy cabin has 1 private acre with lots of wildlife, hiking and riding trails. High speed internet included if you wish to work or watch streaming services during your stay. 20 minutes from Winter Park Resort and 10 minutes from Granby Ranch while still feeling tucked away in your own mountain getaway!

The cabin was originally built in 1984, and has been carefully remodeled and improved over the years. We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for your stay.

Nearby Attractions:
-Winter Park Resort: the #1 ski resort in North America is just 20 minutes away.
-Ski Granby Ranch: 10 minutes away
-Pole Creek Golf Course: 5 minutes away
-Grand Lake: 20 minutes away
-Devil's Thumb Ranch: 10 minutes away
-Fraser to Granby Trail: guests have private access to this 16.1 mile trail that runs west to Granby and east to Fraser. Follow signs near the shed to connect with the trail for hours of hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. Easy access to the YMCA.

Master bedroom has a California King, mounted TV with Roku streaming device & Sling TV, sound machine and blackout curtains.

Second bedroom has a queen bed, sound machine, full closet available for use and blackout curtains.

Loft has a queen bed, sound machine, blackout shades (even on the skylight) and quite a bit of room available to spread out. Sitting area with washer and dryer. There is a desk, additional monitor and HDMi cord for use if working remote (WiFi is strong enough for multiple video calls). This desk fits in every room, feel free to move around where you like, we just ask that you put it back when you're done.

Living Room & Kitchen have plenty of seating for your party. Large leather couch with 2 chairs and 6 seats available at the dining table. Mounted TV has a Roku with Sling TV with over 45 live channels. Due to many guest requests, we decorate for Christmas in the winter months!

1 Bathroom in the home with large shower (no tub). Brush your teeth while checking out the mountain views from the window.

Guest Access:
Long driveway and large lot for multiple cars to park and for easy turn arounds.

Due to the proximity to US-40, road noise is to be expected. Sound machines are provided in each bedroom for this purpose.

WiFi is strong and great for working remote. We've had multiple people on video calls while others are streaming tv in the living room with no issues.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The cabin is a perfect blend of rustic and modern. We especially loved the large private yard with access to the walking trail. We will be adding this to our favorites and can’t wait to come back!

This cabin is located in the perfect spot for short day trips in the mountains. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park one day and the Steamboat Springs, Hahns Peak area another day. I will stay here again

Perfect mountain getaway

We had the best time at this awesome cabin. Location is perfect, cabin is clean, cozy, beautifully decorated. You can jump on trail behind cabin and hike/snowshoe/ski to YMCA trails. Hosts were great, check-in and check-out easy. Would definitely return!

Cute cabin!

My dog and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin is furnished very well. The cabin is pretty close to everything. Just drive down hwy 40 for some beautiful views and charming small towns. Unfortunately due to a family emergency we had to leave a day early.

Cozy cabin in the mountains

We stayed in the cabin for my daughters wedding which was held at Granby Ranch. The cabin was located 15 mins from the ranch and some stores which was very convenient. The cabin was quiet and cozy and equipped with everything we needed.

Birthday Weekend Trip

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner. The fire pit outside was so fun and they had marshmallow roasting sticks. Overall this cabin was one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever stayed at.

Family wedding meet-up

4 member of my family stayed here quite comfortably considering we were busy with wedding activities most of the time. That said, it had everything we needed, was dog friendly, nice yard for hanging out, and the trail nearby is nice! It was great!

Lovely cabin

I could not have asked for anymore. This cabin was perfect. We stayed for 5 days and wished we could have stayed longer. Property was exactly as described. Home was clean, well supplied and adorable. Furnished beautifully, picturesque setting in a cozy neighborhood. GREAT access to RMNP, Granby, Winter park, shopping, hiking and more. I already told my husband that we would be back!!! Loved it.

Cozy Log Cabin

Had a fantastic stay at this cozy log cabin! It was exactly as described in the listing—warm, inviting, and well thought out. From the bedside noise machines to the helpful book of local recommendations, the hosts truly considered every detail. The wood-burning stove was a highlight, and we spent plenty of time enjoying its warmth. The host was extremely kind and responsive when I reached out for advice on where to find something in town. We were pleasantly surprised by how many activities were close by. Instead of heading to Winter Park, we skied at Granby Ranch both days, which turned out to be perfect for me as a first-time skier. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Beautiful cabin

Wenenjoyed our stay! Beautiful, clean cabin with great use of space and design. Owners are upfront about proximity to road and the noise it generates. More a day versus night thing. We were still able to enjoy coffee outside in the mornings, and sit and read throughout the day without the noise being a problem! Thank you!

Great little cabin!

This cabin was super clean and perfect for our stay. As described in the listing, it’s close to the road, but you really could only hear the road noise if you were outside. Kitchen had everything we needed, grill and fireplace worked great. The trail behind the house was the best part!!
