Welcome to The Ranch House at Dragon Ranch! Our brand new picturesque 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house is a lake front home located in the mountains of Black Hawk, Colorado. The home adjoins our historic working family ranch which you will be able to visit during your stay if you would like. At this home you will be greeted with incredible views of the lake, groves of aspen trees, and of course the mountains. The property sits just feet away from the community lake with breathtaking views. The 2 decks offer the chance to sit outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air and a chance to enjoy the night skies full of brilliant constellations whether it’s a cold winter night or a fresh summer evening.


The Ranch House is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and of course Black Rifle Coffee each morning because we are veterans and we support our veterans.

The bedrooms are located on the lower floor of the house. The master bedroom includes a private bathroom and a walkout deck. The living space and kitchen are located on the upper level with incredible views of the lake. Facing south the Ranch House provides beautiful natural light all year through the numerous picture windows.

If you peek out your back windows you can see Dragon Ranch and several of the animals that you can come meet.


THE SURROUNDINGS

The property sits in front of a private community lake with breathtaking views which offer a variety of activities. Enjoy the night skies full of brilliant constellations from a large deck with a pellet grill, plenty of seating, and a propane fire pit.

THE AMENITIES

The space includes a large family room for all of your gatherings which has a large farm table, seating area in front of the fireplace, large comfortable sectional sofa, and a large flatscreen TV!

Or, just gather around the fireplace and look out at the beautiful landscape. We tried to capture the classic western lifestyle with our décor. Most of our décor include photographs and items from the Ranch.

There are 3 bedrooms in the residence with the master having a private bathroom. All bedrooms have a queen bed. There is also a full-size washer and dryer.

HEADING INTO TOWN

The Ranch House is only a few miles from the City of Blackhawk and Central City which offer casinos, restaurants and a variety of other activities. The area is only a 45-minute drive to Denver, or 30 minutes to the fun western town of Golden. Eldora ski area is just 8.4 miles away!

An AWD or four-wheel drive vehicle will be required during the winter months. As we live at the adjoining ranch, we will be there to plow and shovel snow, or take care of any needs you have.

The Ranch House shares a 1.2 acre lot with it's sister home, the Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom home with extra sleeper sofa that can be rented separately or as the entire lot, making it perfect for large families or groups. If you look on airbnb for the Bunkhouse at Dragon Ranch it will include similar photographs of our animals. The Ranch House and Bunkhouse adjoin our large historic working ranch which can be visited upon request to meet all the animals, partake in numerous activities, and tour the ranch. Dragon Ranch is exclusively visited by those that stay in the Ranch House or Bunkhouse, making Dragon Ranch a private experience. We can't wait for you to stay in our modern farmhouse styled home while you visit our historic ranch.
