The Wee Nook, just 3 miles from Carver Landing!

The Wee Nook is a cottage tucked away in a peaceful, lovely location near the national park. Use it as a base for hiking nearby trails, or floating the Buffalo River (just 3 miles from Carver Landing). There are six Highland cows that roam the pastures surrounding the home, along with plenty of wildlife on the property. There's a wet-weather creek that flows from approximately December to April (depending on rain fall). Come relax in the gorgeous Ozarks!

***I will send you a map pin, as the address isn't recognized by map apps*** Also please note the home is down a mile long gravel driveway, with a steep hill. I've had no trouble in my 2wd SUV, but I don't recommend motorcycles!!

Awesome little place in the perfect area! Everything you need in a tidy package. The bed was also really comfortable. My son loved the highland cows and goats! We also had a little bunny visit a few times which he got a kick out of for sure. Greta place for an Upper Buffalo float. We grabbed supper on the way back in Jasper which made the perfect round trip after spending the day on the river

This place is ADORABLE! Very comfortable and spacious, had everything we needed. The washer/dryer was appreciated after a day of hiking, as was the luxurious shower.My ONE complaint is the stairs are steep. But the bedroom when you get to the top is LOVELY! We ran a little late in the morning bc we spent so much time on the front porch enjoying our coffee and talking to the cows. 🤎 It was such a peaceful environment. 10/10 recommend. We will be back.

Great place and very private.

This was a nice place to stay as we spent a couple of days on the Buffalo River. Very clean, quiet and well stocked. The snacks were also a plus!!

We adore everything about the Ozarks, and make our home here. From beautiful mountain vistas to rolling green valleys.....the Ozarks has it all!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Wee Nook is a cozy spot I want you to feel right at home in. You'll be very near the Buffalo, as well as several hiking trails (Sam's Throne is the closest one). Make yourself comfortable by the firepit after a day full of exploring, or give the Highland cows a chin scratch. They're quite friendly, but do be mindful that they are big animals with hooves, teeth, and horns, so please don't enter their fence!
