Wonderful stay

I really enjoyed this stay. It was secluded and the owner was extremely nice and helpful. Very kid friendly place with lots of toys and a huge play ground. My daughters loved that the owner took them on a train ride.

The Beautiful Hills of Kentucky and a Yoga Festival

The property is quiet, tranquil and beautiful! Our Hostess was wonderful! The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying again next year.

Peace and Happiness

We absolutely loved staying at the Lily Pad cottage. Quiet..Peaceful..plenty for the kids and adults to do. Had a campfire every night. Relaxing and serene. Just what we needed to get away from the busy lives we all lead. Sunrise was Beautiful as well as the stars at night. Our host was amazing. Felt like Family. We will definitely be back. Loved it!!

Mammoth cave trip

The owner is a very sweet lady, so gave us a plate of homemade Christmas desserts that were very delicious. This is a great place for kids they have all kinds of things to do for them. It's a little rustic more of a campground sitting so keep that in mind when you book it. Again the location and host was excellent.

Stay was too short

We had a wonderful overnight stay and wish we could have stayed longer to further enjoy Peggy's beautfiul property. It is obvious that she puts a lot of love, care and thoughtfulness into her property. She took us for a tour of all the cottages and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Our teens loved the friendly cat, trampoline and comfy places to hang out outside. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay again.

The kids loved it!

Our party was the only group there so we had the place to ourselves, which was very nice. We had 5 kids with us and they were entertained the enitre stay. Property is very well kept. Equipped with a huge playground area. Mrs. Peggy even took the time to take the kids on a train ride around the property. The cabin was very clean. Peggy really does go above and beyond gor her guest. If you have smaller children, this is the place to go.

She was amazing. Had so much ready for us and things for the kids to do. She was like a sweet grandma to us. Made sure we had what we needed and went out of her way at every turn. She even prayed over us before we left and that meant so much to these two traveling mommas.

A diamond in the rough

We had the best time at this property. I can feel the love and attention poured into each one of these tiny homes. We we able to book quickly and the host met us at the gate and gave us a tour. Her and her husband are so sweet. We will definitely be back and will definitely be bring our kids next go round. Full play ground. Themed buildings and even a house for the kids to play in. We star gazed, sat by the fire and had one of the best nights weve had in a long time The host have thougt of everything and we loved the farm fresh eggs. Thank you all again!

Such a nice place!

Our family came here just for a night and the lady was very sweet and showed us where everything was....There are tons of toys for my grandson to play with perfect for kids!!! And a train ride as well that he loved !! No need to bring toys here it has everything you can think of to keep children busy. The listing was a little confusing there is one bed on the floor and two lofts up top but the beds are comfortable!! There is a bathroom separately from the house wish there would have been one in our room but we also figure there would be a outside one but no biggie!!! would definitely recommend😊

Sweet little getaway

I am so THANKFUL that I was able to find this little slice of hospitality and adventure. My best friend was getting married, and I had reserved a little place very close to where she lives but at the last minute, the lady had to cancel. The cabin that was reserved to me on those dates were no longer going to be available because a construction crew with whom she has a contract, where not going to be finished with their job because it got pushed back another week. The lady called me and apologized and was very kind, however, that meant I had just a few days to find somewhere to stay. I stumbled across this sweet little spot and decided to give it a call. Peggy was so sweet and accomodating to not only our need for last minute reservations, but also to my disabled mother whom ended up having a terrible UTI and had to get medical treatment. Needless to say, our stay was brief and busy so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the tranquility and hospitality that Peggy and her husband had to offer. With that being said, we will be returning when we do not have so much to do and we can enjoy the beautiful scenery, have a chat with sweet Peggy and her hubby, and just relax and make memories. Thank you so much Peggy!!!!
